Kendra walked in with her usual stern expression. The venue was elegantly decorated, filled with businessmen and businesswomen. She scanned the room and spotted Rayan and John. When they saw her, they smiled widely and walked towards her.

"You said you wouldn't come, right?" they asked, excitedly. Kendra chuckled and said, "I thought I shouldn't miss my first party." They chuckled at her response and said,

"You look so beautiful!" Rayan exclaimed. Kendra smiled and replied, "Thank you." John smiled at them both and said, "Come on, everyone's here." Kendra nodded with a smile and followed them.

"Hey, Kendra," some of the employees greeted her warmly. Kendra smiled back, and they started to enjoy the party. Throughout the event, Rayan couldn't stop watching her with a smile, clearly admiring her. Kendra, however, didn't notice.

"By the way, you look stunning today!" one of the male employees said with a smile. Kendra smiled lightly and replied, "Thank you." Their conversation continued, with Kendra—who usually wore a cold expression—now laughing and smiling with her coworkers.

Meanwhile, Zayn, who was talking to other business partners, kept glancing at Kendra from time to time.

"Why the hell is she laughing and talking with those guys?" he muttered angrily, watching her closely.

"Are you listening to me, Mr. Zayn?" one of his business partners asked, interrupting his thoughts. Zayn snapped back to attention, gave his partner a quick smile, and continued the conversation.

Fernandez approached Kendra with a mischievous smile. "Hey," he greeted her. Kendra shifted her attention to Fernandez, who was looking at her. As soon as the other employees saw him, they all stood up respectfully. Kendra, too, stood up, her face stern. Fernandez smirked and asked, "Can I talk to you, Ms. Kendra?" Kendra looked at him coldly but didn't respond.

"Come over here," he said, pointing towards his VIP area. He headed in that direction, and after excusing herself, Kendra followed him.

"I didn't expect you to come to the party, Ms. Walker," he said, sitting like a king with his legs spread arrogantly. Kendra scoffed and replied, "Who'd want to attend a party hosted by an illegal businessman like you?"

Fernandez's eyes narrowed. "Wh—what do you mean?" he stammered.

Kendra chuckled at his discomfort. "Why so scared now?" she teased, pouring herself a drink with a smirk. Fernandez's face paled, sweat forming on his forehead. After pouring the alcohol, Kendra sat across from him like a queen, legs crossed.

"What exactly do you know, Kendra?" he asked, his voice trembling. Kendra was momentarily confused by his fear, but she shrugged it off and said,

"It's none of your concern, Fernandez. But you dare disrespect me again..."

She drank the entire glass and gave him a cold, piercing look. Fernandez swallowed hard. At that moment, Zayn entered the room and said,

"My dad wants to see you." Kendra shifted her gaze to Zayn and nodded. Turning back to Fernandez, she smirked, "Thanks for the drink, Mr. Fernandez!" Zayn, expressionless, glanced between them. Fernandez forced a smile and replied,

"It's... it's my pleasure, ma'am."

Zayn raised an eyebrow at Fernandez's sudden shift in tone, calling her "ma'am." Kendra smiled and said to Zayn,

"Shall we?" Zayn nodded and walked out. With one last look at Fernandez, Kendra followed. Fernandez let out a deep breath and immediately reached for his phone.

On the call,

"I need to see you," Fernandez said urgently to the person on the other end.

"Why the rush?" the other person asked, their voice cold and rough. Fernandez closed his eyes and sighed, "I think Kendra knows everything about us."
