Dexter's POV

I was waiting for Kendra when she finally walked towards me. She looked stunning, and no one would guess she was a billionaire from her dress. She stood in front of me with a soft smile.

"So, what's your plan?" I asked with a smile.

"Nothing, just want to go home," she replied. I nodded and suggested, "If you're up for it, how about we go for a coffee?" She smiled and said, "Of course."

I smirked internally and we headed to a nearby café.

"So, what do you want?" I asked with an innocent smile.

"Anything you order," she replied. I smiled and called the waiter, "Two cappuccinos, please." The waiter nodded and walked away.

"Why are you dressed like this? I've never seen a CEO in such casual clothes," I asked.

She smiled nervously. "If you don't want to say, that's fine," I added quickly.

"No, it's not that. I'm working under Zayn Collin, CEO of Collin Global, because of my father," she explained.

I frowned. "For what?"

"He says that Zayn is too talented, so I need to watch him work for six months to improve myself," she said, smiling.

I nodded in confusion. Are they not in a relationship? What's going on? I sighed in frustration.

"Are you listening?" she asked. I snapped out of my thoughts, looked at her, and gave a sweet smile.

"Actually, I don't like him. He's so annoying. He's the one who told me to dress this way so everyone would think I come from a middle-class family," she said, irritated.

So she's not fond of him? Let me check...

"But I think he's sweet and intelligent, right?" I asked.

She scoffed. "Sweet and intelligent? Not at all. We usually fight a lot..."

I smirked internally. It's confirmed, then.

"I'm telling you this because I trust you. Don't tell anyone," she said seriously. I nodded with a smile. After we talked for a while, she left. As soon as she was gone, I called one of my men who works at Collin Global.

"Yes, boss?"

"Get details about Zayn's and Kendra's relationship. I want a full report," I said with a cold, stern voice.

"Okay, boss," he replied before I hung up.

Next Day

Kendra's POV:

While I was working, Olivia approached me. I rolled my eyes and focused on my work.

"Get me some coffee!" she demanded, folding her arms.

I ignored her and continued working. She stared at me, dumbfounded. "I asked you something, bitch," she said, banging her hands on my desk. Employees began to look at us. I stood up and asked, "What do you want, Olivia?"

"I want coffee!" she repeated.

"Satisfy yourself. You've got two hands, don't you?" I retorted.

"I need it from you," she insisted, irritating me further. I closed my eyes to calm myself and said angrily, "I'm not your maid, Ms."

"If I want, I can make you a maid. I'm so rich, you know. I've already got a maid at home. If I ask my father, he'll hire you for me," she threatened.

I scoffed at her statement.
