At Walkers Cafe,

Now, Kendra, Luna, Ada, and Alona were sitting in the café.

"And you said nothing, Ken?" Luna asked Kendra after she told them everything about Megan.

Kendra took a sip of her hot coffee and said, "What should I say? Everything ended three years ago.."

Ada sighed and said, "But I think she's trying to get close to us again."

As soon as she said this, Kendra looked at her and replied, "Nothing is going to happen, Ada... Nothing," she said with a serious face and leaned back on the couch.

They looked at her and nodded in agreement. To change the topic, they decided to ask her about Zayn.

"So, what about our brother, Ken?"

When Alona asked her, she looked at them with one eyebrow raised in confusion. Luna chuckled and said, "She's talking about Zayn!"

As soon as Kendra heard his name, an unknown smile crept onto her face.

The three of them noticed it, and, in excitement, Luna asked, "Tell me... Tell me... Are you two together now?"

Kendra looked at her with a smile, shook her head in denial, and said, "No...! But I think I love him... I don't know, but I think I do."

"It's not a doubt, Ken. You do love him, girl. Look at your smile—you really love him. We suspected it before, but now it's clear. I'm telling you, Ken, you two are the perfect couple in the whole world, I swear," Ada said with an assuring smile.

Kendra looked at her with a smile and said, "I don't know."

Luna smiled and said, "I swear he loves you too, Ken. The way he looks at you is so different. And you both are on the same wavelength—perfect match, for sure."

"I agree, girl!" Alona joined in.

Kendra smiled and said nothing.

Lerick's POV

"Then what about Kendra? What about the love you have for her, Zayn?"

When I asked him, he looked at me with an emotionless face. Tears welled up in his eyes, and I was so amazed to see them because it's rare to see him like this. The last time I saw him this way was when Dexter kidnapped Celine. After all these years, this is the first time he's like this again. Even when Uncle was in the hospital, got shot during a mission, at the edge of his death he was so strong.

"I'm... I'm going to leave her. I can't risk her life. She deserves a better, normal life—not a mafia life, Lerick," he said.

I looked at him with a questioning expression, struggling to digest what he had just said. I'm the only one to whome he opened up always. But this.....

"What are you talking about, Zayn? Are you out of your mind?" I asked him in an irritated tone.

He looked at me with the same emotionless face and replied, finishing his entire glass, "I'm not out of my mind. I just want her to be safe. I don't want her to get hurt because of me."

He said this while clearly struggling to control himself. I could feel his pain. The man who was always so serious and cold was now deeply hurt—all because of a woman he truly loved with all his heart.

He took a deep breath and continued, looking at me, "I've made up my mind."

I looked at him seriously and said, "You're a mafia, Zayn. You have the strength and power to protect your family—especially her, your love." When I said the last word he looked at me with his red eyes.
