Dexter's POV

"Your name...?" she asked me.

So my plan is working. I laughed inside but smiled in front of her and said, "I'm Dexter... Dexter Evans."

I smirked internally and extended my hand for a handshake. To my surprise, she accepted it and shook hands with me.

"Nice to meet you... I hope we'll meet again," she said, to which I nodded with a smirk. Then, with a light smile, she left.

"Zayn... My first target is in my trap now... Let me see how you will win this," I smiled evilly and walked away.

End of Dexter's POV

Next day,

On the call,

"Yes, Yara, tell me..." Kendra said while sipping coffee in the cafeteria.

"Mam, they found it..." Kendra smiled at Yara's statement and said, "I'll be there in an hour..."

"Okay, mam..." Yara replied, and Kendra hung up the call.

She then walked toward Zayn's cabin. When she entered, she saw Zayn on the phone, clearly angry. She stood there, waiting for him to finish the call.

"I NEED HIM RIGHT NOW!" he shouted into the phone.

"Why is he behaving like he's a gangster or a mafia King?" she scoffed to herself. Suddenly, he noticed her standing there.

"I'll call you back," he said, hanging up the phone and walking toward her with long strides.

"I need to tell you something..." she began, but Zayn interrupted,

"First, listen to me. You may leave now; I've got some important work." Kendra nodded and was about to leave, but before she could, he called her back and asked,

"What was it you wanted to say to me?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

"It's nothing..." she said and left. Zayn nodded, then called Levi, grabbed his coat from the chair, and left the office.

At Walker Ventures,

Kendra went straight to her cabin and called all the head officers.

"Who found it and from which department?" Kendra asked in a stern voice.

Yara replied, "From the Accounting Department, ma'am." After she spoke, the head officer of the Accounting Department stepped forward with two men. Kendra looked at three of them with raised eyebrows.

The head officer then spoke, "Mam, these two are the ones who spread the news." Kendra looked at both of them with cold, stern eyes and said, "Speak."

The two men gulped in fear, and one of them spoke, "I'm sorry, ma'am..."

As soon as he said that, Kendra slammed the table with a loud voice and shouted, "SORRY?" They flinched at the volume. Kendra closed her eyes to regain composure and said, "Both of you are fired."

The employees looked at her with wide eyes and pleaded,

"Please, ma'am... It was a mistake. Please don't fire us..."

"Please, ma'am... We won't repeat it. My family depends on this job, ma'am..."

Kendra looked at them in anger and said, "You broke the company's rules, and now you're pleading?"

They stood there with their heads down. Kendra sighed and said,

"This is your last and final warning, only because I'm thinking about your families... But I can't let you off entirely. Wait..."
