Kendra's POV

I drove straight to Ventures without wasting any time. I parked my car in front of the office itself and walked inside. There was a huge crowd. I composed myself and walked straight to the crowd. After seeing me, the employees greeted me and made way for me.

"I SAID I NEED TO SEE MR. WALKER, YOU IDIOTS!" Fernandez shouted, standing in the middle of the crowd. After seeing me, some of the employees' faces turned pale.

"Sir, please don't make a scene," Yara pleaded, but Fernandez turned on her, eyes blazing.

"Say that again, girl," he said menacingly. Yara scoffed, standing her ground.

"PLEASE... DON'T... MAKE... A... SCENE..." she repeated, emphasizing each word as she stared him down. I smiled proudly and crossed my hands behind my back after seeing her boldness.

"Mam!" one of the employees called out to me. I looked at her with stern eyes. She shut her mouth when she saw my anger. Fernandez scoffed and raised his hand, about to slap her, but before he could, I shouted, gaining everyone's attention,

"DON'T YOU DARE DO THAT!"

I said this and walked towards them, still with my hands crossed behind my back. He looked at me fearfully. I smirked and stood in front of him.

"Why are you here?" he asked, trying to be fearless. I chuckled and said, "Are you for real, man? This is my company, and you're asking me why I'm here?" I laughed and looked at him as though piercing his soul.

"Don't play dumb," he warned me. I walked closer to him and said in a dark, yet scary voice,

"You're the one playing dumb. Just get lost." I said this, turned, and walked away. But,

"YOU'RE WORKING AT COLLIN GLOBAL AS MR. ZAYN COLLIN'S PERSONAL ASSISTANT, RIGHT?"

he shouted, which made me stop in my tracks. All of the employees who had gathered around gasped in surprise. I looked at him, full of anger. Now he's dead. I walked towards him and called security,

"SECURITY!" I shouted while still looking straight into his eyes. My eyes were burning with anger. Soon, the security guards ran towards me and said, "Yes, Ms. Walker..."

I looked at them with anger and asked in a stern voice,

"What the hell have I appointed you all for?" They all looked at Fernandez and lowered their heads in front of me. I looked at them, full of anger, and shouted,

"ANSWER MY FUCKING QUESTION!" They all flinched, and the head security officer said, "I'm sorry, ma'am." I scoffed and said,

"A fucking sorry won't fix it. I will deal with you all later. Now," I looked at Fernandez and continued,

"Throw this shit outside as soon as possible." Fernandez clenched his jaw and was about to say something, but before he could, the security guards held him and dragged him outside. But before that, one sentence he had said to me during our meeting at Collin Global struck my mind:

"If you're here to say anything to Zayn against me, you'll regret it."

"So he is hiding something, huh?" I said to myself and shoted,

"WAIT.." the guards stopped and then I walked towards him and whispered in his ear with a smirk,

"Don't forget that the big bomb of yours is with me, hmm?" He looked at me with wide eyes.

"You will regret this," he warned me. I laughed and said,

"Of course I won't. And yes, one more thing: I'm letting you go like this just because you're my father's age. I don't like beating elders. But I won't be this lenient next time, so keep that in mind, Mr. Fernandez."
