it's been a couple weeks since the call, and everything's been fine since. the streamer updates page has been pretty calm about posting us, only posting when we streamed together or were at public, crowded places. but since we're streaming, they're bound to make an update. and since it's the last update before twitch con, it has to be a good one.

after doing so, i patiently sit at my desk with discord open and my cursor hovering above multiple random games i have downloaded. i don't know what he has in mind for today- minecraft like usual? one of the hundreds of competitive multiplayer games that are popular right now? something completely out of pocket?
as my eyes start to lose focus from daydreaming too hard, a sudden ringing sounds through my ears and makes me jump. one minute before 7 sapnap starts the call- i don't hesitate to join.
"hi," he says as soon as i enter the call. i can hear the reverberation of keyboard and mouse clicks on his ends.
"hey," i reply, resting my chin in the palm of my hand. "i never asked- what are we doing?"
"oh, i didn't tell you? we're playing club penguin!"
a moment of silence floats by.
"we're-"
"i'm starting stream!" sapnap cuts me off quickly as he continues to click away. he proceeds to go on deafen without warning and i audibly sigh.
"are you serious?" i ask before realizing that he can't hear me.
