Unfortunately, hindi ko nareschedule yung meeting ko, so now I am stuck in the office at sobrang dami ko pang kailangan tapusin. Hindi na nga ako nakasama kela Gwen, mukhang kailangan ko pang mag-overtime.
Bigla naman tuloy akong nahiya na wala man lang akong regalo para kay Mikha. I mean, after doing so many things for me, the least I could have done is buy her something. A cap maybe? A hoodie? Para kasing mahilig siya dun.
I went out for lunch and dumaan na lang din ako sa mall para maghanap ng regalo para kay Mikha. I won't be able to give it to her immediately, pero baka one of these days, mabigay ko naman. I went around until finally I saw a hoodie that looks perfect on Mikha.
I checked soc med at sobrang dami na ngang bumabati kay Mikha. Pero kahit isa dun, wala pa siyang nirereplyan. It took a couple of minutes nung nakita ko na nagpost na si Mikha. She looked very happy in her story kasama yung girls. They brought her cake and kitang-kita sa photo na nagulat si Mikha.
I saw the video from Colet na sabi niya ikiss na nila si Mikha dahil birthday niya. Natawa ako kasi nagrereklamo na agad si Mikha. Ayaw niya talaga na kinikiss siya. She then covered her face with her hoodie at nasapak pa nga ni Colet. I chuckled.
It made me feel happy knowing Mikha got to spend at least some time with the girls but it made me feel sad that I wasn't there. I checked the comments and may comment dun na bakit daw wala ako sa picture.
Well andito ako nalulunod sa trabaho ko.
I checked the rest of the comments and even yung mga tagged photos kay Mikha. I found one photo of her with Colet, Jho, and Loi that I loved. She was hugging Colet and si Colet was hugging her back. They all looked cute in their black outfits.
I walked back sa office and since may oras pa naman bago yung meeting ko, I decided to call Mikha. It just kept on ringing and naisip ko na baka busy pa siya with the girls. Pero my heart skipped when she picked up, pero binaba niya rin agad. She must be really busy.
Pero halos mapatalon ako nung nagring bigla yung phone ko and nakita ko na tumatawag si Mikha.
'Hello? '
"Hello. I thought you were busy cause you ended the call."
'No. Baka wala ka kasing load.'
"Naka-line naman ako Mikha Lim. Anyway, happy birthday!" sabi ko sa kanya.
'Thank you! '
"Sorry I'm not there." sagot ko kay Mikha.
'It's okay. I understand.'
"Sayang. I got you a gift pa naman." sabi ko kay Mikha.
'You didn't have to get me anything. Okay lang if wala or a hug would have been okay. But thank you anyway.'
"Oo nga, if I'm there you could have been entitled to a hug." sabi ko sa kanya. She chuckled.
'Wala bang extension yung claiming nyan? '
"Sorry po maam, valid for today lang po yung birthday promo natin na buy one take me promo po. Padala na lang po ng gift receipt."
I heard Mikha chuckle tapos narinig ko na inaasar siya ng girls sa likod.
'GRABE NAMAN YAN MIKHA HALATANG-HALATA NAMAN ANG KILIG MO DYAN! ' sigaw ni Staku.
"Please tell the girls I said hi."
'She says hi.' sabi ni Mikha.
Maya maya narinig ko na may kumuha nung phone ni Mikha.
'WE MISS YOU ATE AIAH! ' sabi ni Shee. 'Habol ka kaya dito? '
