Chapter 5 Page 28
She followed Red, and the two of them strolled along the dirt path until Red stopped and gestured toward an enormous, beautiful castle. Luna became enthralled with the sight of even greater beauty, as her eyes glowed.
"That's my home, my actual home, well, sort of," Red remarked.
Red looked at her and told her that it was vital, even though he didn't want her to be angry with him for not telling her.
"Well, I know that I told you that this was my home, this house, and that Lucy is my mother—well, she isn't; she is like a mother to me but she isn't my real mother," he said,
staring at her in shock. At one point, I also lived in the wilderness, but something happened.
Red spoke while Luna listened, "When I was a small child, hunters killed my parents, and the king who lived in that castle quickly came across me."
Luna nodded in agreement as Red continued,
"Well, the king left that castle to me so it's mine it's going to be our home."
"Are you mad at me?" Red said with a bow of his head.
Luna shot him a look of shock. Luna looked at Red and said,
"No, I'm just glad you told me this and I can be with you forever."
