Chapter 7 Page 34
Blood was running down Luna's leg from her feet, and she was crying. Red was still confused as he came to her side and recognized what was going on. He reassured her by bringing her into his arms and saying, "It's okay, my love, come with me," after that. She turned to look at him, sobbing even more. Then he forced her back into the tub and gave her a thorough cleaning.
"My love, we'll get you well soon," he vowed.
Luna was clueless about what was happening to her. She hadn't had a period in a while, so why now? Red offered her the type of care he always provided her, and then she fell asleep. She eventually dozed off once again and woke up to quickly use the restroom. After she had puked, Red came in behind her to see what was going on, and he hurriedly ran to get assistance in getting to the doctor.
Luna was laying on the bed with her stomach raised up when the Doctor arrived at the castle. He was shown to the bedroom through the double doors. He then carried out a few jobs while Red waited for the Doctor to appear and let him know what was going on outside in the corridor. Red began to pace the floor, a nervous man due to his impending marriage.
Red ran to see the Doctor when he finally appeared.
"I think she might just be sick," he said, adding that he would return in the morning.
Red came into the room, sat down by the fire to think, and looked up at Luna. He was truly worried, even if she was still asleep. He watched over his sweetie all night long while sitting by the fire.
