"I assure you that nothing - not even me - could ever hurt you and that you would be safe. I never could raise my hand to you,"
"I adore you forever. A man who touches a women or child is nothing more than a ugly person inside and out,"
"I promise you that there is nothing to be concerned about." He laid closer to her and embraced her, kissing her on the lips.
Red lay awake, staring at the ceiling, while Luna closed her eyes after feeling a little better. Red started to cry a little, but stopped himself as soon as he felt tears trickle down his cheek. He pulled Luna closer and gave her a brief kiss on the head before falling asleep.
Suddenly there was a little knock at the door.
"Why are you knocking on the door so late at night?"
"What is so important?" Red glanced at the clock and inquired.
He saw a cleaner standing there, apologizing
" I was cleaning the dining hall and stumbled across an item on the ground and didn't know who it was."
He took out what looked to be a golden chain with a locket on it.
"I'll check to see if it's Luna's thanks for bringing it to us," he said.
She looked down and back up, then turned to leave. Red went back to bed and dozed off after carefully shutting the door behind her and setting the necklace on Luna's side of the bed;s nightstand.
