Chapter 11 Page 53

 "Her name should be Rose."

With a smile, Red remarked, "What a lovely name.

Red was so ecstatic that he hurried to the bedroom doorway to announce to the entire castle that he had a gorgeous newborn girl.

As the night wore on, Red stayed up watching Luna as the Nanny entered the room to take the baby to wash her up.

Red asked a maid to fetch some water the following morning so Luna could have a bath. Luna was still asleep when the maid came with water, which Red collected and added to the tub. He then lit some candles, woke Luna up with breakfast in bed, assisted her in getting into the warm bath tub, and cuddled up to her. After that, he continued,

"We'll take the baby outside to the garden and walk for a little while so you can get some air, and if you'd like, we can maybe go somewhere for lunch as a family."

"Maybe later; I'm still kind of tired and really weak in my love," Luna shook her head. After expressing worry for Luna, Red continued, saying, "Okay, my love, just let me know when and I will have things prepared."

Later that day, while Luna was still in bed, the doctor arrived to see how both she and the infant were doing. Red was quite concerned about Luna because it seemed like she wasn't herself. She didn't seem well at all and appeared to be depressed.

"Is there something I can do to help you feel better about my love?" Red asked Luna as they lay in bed together. Luna merely gave a headshake.
