~ One Week Later ~Omniscient
A sweet and comforting ambrosia of homemade waffles and freshly cut fruit wafted through the air of the couple's kitchen.
Downstairs, Noah stood at the counter just after finishing breakfast, now fixing her lover's coffee with cinnamon and creamer, just the way she liked it. She was still in her pajamas- a pair of cotton pinstriped pants with a white lace tank top- and wore her glasses and house slippers. Playing at a soft volume was yet another audiobook, this time being a science fiction novel instead of a classic for a change.
Meanwhile, upstairs was her fiancé, getting ready for the long day of work ahead of her.
Standing at the sizable bathroom mirror, Milan was dressed in white tailored pants and a salmon colored wrapover blouse that tucked into them as a thin black belt cinched her waist.
On her feet were a sleek pair of black heels and on her neck was the gold necklace her lover had gifted her, spelling her name in cursive. Her hair was drawn back into a low bun as she put on her mini hooped gold earrings before applying an expensive fragrance that Noah had also gifted her a while ago.
She could hear and smell the lovely breakfast being prepared for her downstairs, and it squeezed at her chest, knowing that she could think of nothing but the calories and weight it would add to her. She could think of nothing but the disgust she was about to feel with every bite, for she refused to let her lover's time and effort and care go to waste.
The consequences would simply have to be dealt with later, Milan knew as she took one final once over upon herself in the mirror- not looking for long and not happy with what she saw- before grabbing her things and heading downstairs.
With an occupied mind of her own, Noah hardly heard her lover's footsteps of heel clicks down the wooden stairs. Nor did she notice how close the woman had gotten to her until there was a sudden hand at her hip along with a warm presence beside her.
As expected, Milan stood a bit taller while she placed a kiss to her fiancé's temple, a grin now stringing both their lips.
"You look stunning," Noah murmured into their embrace, feeling intoxicated by her lover's scent next.
She then went to the tips of her toes the moment Milan grabbed her gently by the face to capture her lips in response. It had her hands travel up from the younger woman's waist to drape over her shoulders. Peck by peck, Milan kissed her slowly again and again while sliding both hands lower to cup under Noah's behind and lifted her suddenly into the air.
With a yelp, Noah couldn't help her giggling beam against her lover's lips as she was carried to sit on the edge of the counter, her legs now crossing behind white trousers.
"Baby you have to go soon or you're going to be late."
Making a face somewhat between a pout and a frown, Milan snuck her hands beneath Noah's shirt to hold her waist close. "You're saying you want me to leave?"
"You know that's not what I'm saying at all-"
Smiling then at Noah's playful chuckle, Milan shrugged and emitted a dramatic sigh before backing away. "Finee, if that's what you want-"
"Stop it," Noah's eyebrows rose with humor and laughter as she grabbed her lover's wrists to keep her hands in place and her body close. "Come here," she muttered once their eyes locked and her arms tied around Milan's neck for a sensual kiss.
Her hands rubbed on soft and slim and toned arms as she hummed into it, knowing that the moment was making her miss the older woman already.
"Are you busy this weekend?"
