The march was a powerful expression of the dissatisfaction of the working masses towards the bourgeois "democracy" of the United states and shows clearly that the working masses are prepared to go into the struggle when called upon. However with that being said this event shows that there is still a great deal of ideological and party building work necessary in order for the working masses to achieve victory and the dictatorship of the proletariat

The leadership of the march in our estimation was thoroughly revisionist and adhered to the opportunist "popular front" style of movement

FRSO played a major role in the march. We have already made our position on this organization clear but to restate it they are one of, if not the, main defiers of Marxism-Leninism in the United States. Other so-called progressive parties and leftist parties were also part of the movement, we largely distance ourselves from such definitions of "progressivism" and "leftism" as they seem to us to be a way to sneak bourgeois and petit bourgeois ideology into the workers movement under red-ish banners.

In summary

Out with the revisionists and opportunists who mislead the struggle of the proletariat down blind alleys and into the arms of the bourgeoisie. Comrades come to us come to the Comintern (SH)

(Postscript)

The US section will be attending the march against the DNC on August 18

The US section plans to organize a march against imperialist war for Red Anti-War day under the direct leadership of the World Party of the Proletariat

Sub note

The general ideolgical direction of the rally was also totally confused from meally mouthed calls for "revolution" to one speaker proudly stating that "fascism will not be defeated by bullets" this here is the clear result of the ideological confusion brought about by the revisionist popular front tactic.
