The Palestinian people are one of the oldest peoples in the world and live an undignified, miserable life in refugee camps after millions of refugees and displaced persons. The Palestinians have been scattered all over the globe and deprived of their homeland. A nation of stateless people, and world public opinion looks the other way. But the suffering of the Palestinian people did not begin in 1948, with the illegal founding of the State of Israel.
In the middle of the second millennium, Hebrew tribes came to Palestine.
Thus, two slave-holding states of Israel and Judah emerged in Palestine about 1500 years before the calendar, after they had annihilated the indigenous Palestinian population and subjugated their remnants. The Israelites occupied the fertile northern part of Palestine and the Judeans claimed the southern part of Palestine, the hill country.
Around the year 1000 B.C., the two kingdoms were united into one Hebrew kingdom, with Jerusalem as its capital. The Hebrew kingdom kept its own slaves, which included the Palestinians. The palaces that King Solomon, the son of David, the founder of the kingdom, built in Jerusalem were constructed by slaves. Peasants were also forced to do construction work. After the death of Solomon, when the subjects gave vent to their discontent and the quarrel between the two kingdoms increased, the north fell away from Judah and formed its own Israelite kingdom. The trade routes that connected Egypt with Mesopotamia passed through Palestine, making Palestine an important trading centre. The nobility, made rich by trade, began to take possession of the peasant common land. So the Israelis did not just steal the Palestinians' land today, but already 1000 years ago, vineyards and fertile peasant land. The Israeli nobility, priests, rich merchants and landowners exploited the Palestinian peasants by levying taxes and turning them into debt slaves. This aroused great bitterness among the Palestinian peasants. And the ongoing predatory wars of the Israeli aristocracy also affected the Palestinian peasants. There were several popular movements of the oppressed classes against the nobility and against the rich merchants. The Israelis finally destroyed Palestine and in 722 B.C. the Assyrians seized the land in alliance with the Jewish king. Israel and Judah lost their independence. Palestine became part of the Persian Empire. And so today Hamas receives its weapons from what is now Persia, murdering as a tool of the Iranian Allah-fascists.
There is in fact no foreign power that has not seized the Palestinian people, whether it was the Egyptians, the Turks, the Western powers in the Middle Ages (Crusades), and came after further suffering into the hands of the English imperialists.
