World Communist Youth Day (US-Section)

Today we celebrate the day of the working and toiling youth of the world

In many of the crises facing the world today it is the young proletarian who suffers the most, they are the ones who die in the pointless wars of imperialism that once again threaten to spill out into a world war, it is them who will experience the brunt of the climate crisis.

But it is also the young proletariat who is often in the forefront of the struggle for the liberation of all mankind for they know that it is them who will inherit the earth and set about the building of socialism and communism.

While speaking about the youth it must be highlight that We must not repeat the mistakes of 68’ the petty bourgeois notion of “student power” or more broadly “youth power” which are still particularly prominent in America is in direct opposition to the goal of all communists which is the socialist of the dictatorship of the workers and peasants which will transition to communism. It is the world proletariat, not the students, who must lead the struggle to victory.

We must also fight against the common trend of “generationalism” that being the hatred of one generation by another, it is a common cry amongst the youth today that our parents and Grandparents generation are to blame for the dire state of the world, this is untrue, it is not one or another generation who is to blame but rather capitalism that has placed us in this dire situation. From the older comrades we have much to learn about how the struggle must be conducted and we must not scorn them just because they’re hair may be gray for one day we too will not be so young.

Young Workers you have proven yourselves to be active fighters willing to throw yourselves into the struggle without a second thought to life nor limb but you also must you must organize yourselves, focus your energy behind the only party that harnesses the strength of the working youth and put it entirely towards the socialist revolution and a communist world.

Additional note on the Anti-War struggle

We included this addendum as one of the driving forces in the anti-war struggle is the youth and so we felt it was appropriate to include it here

Two months ago during Red Anti-War Day we wrote about the anti-war movement globally and specifically in America

It must be said that since we wrote our article two months ago the situation has changed drastically.

Unlike the on-going war in Ukraine, where the bourgeoisie has been successfully able to sow confusion among the masses and stifle the anti-war movement in regards to that particular war, the brutality of Israel’s war of extermination has galvanized large parts of the toiling masses against the war and it has even pushed a large number of the petty bourgeoisie (largely university students) into the camp of the peace movement

However we must once again look at the character of the modern anti-War movement

71 years ago Comrade Stalin correctly analyzed the peace movement of his time, that being the peace movement of the Korean war era where the bourgeoisie were pushing for a third world war directed against the Soviet Union and the socialist camp.
“The object of the present-day peace movement is to rouse the masses of the people to fight for the preservation of peace and for the prevention of another world war. Consequently, the aim of this movement is not to overthrow capitalism and establish socialism -- it confines itself to the democratic aim of preserving peace.” (Stalin, 1952)
Can we say that Stalin’s analysis of the Anti-War movement is still broadly correct in relation to the modern peace movement
Yes, even 71 years later the peace movement still confines itself merely to democratic aims, this is true of all peace movements since the 1950’s, the possible exception being Vietnam though the forces of revolution were muddied by revisionist notions and petty bourgeoisie ideological corruption,
and what its it that comrade Stalin says about peace movements of these progressive democratic characters
“What is most likely is that the present-day peace movement, as a movement for the preservation of peace, will, if it succeeds, result in preventing a particular war, in its temporary postponement, in the temporary preservation of a particular peace, in the resignation of a bellicose government and its supersession by another that is prepared temporarily to keep the peace.” (Stalin, 1952) [emphasis our own]
Comrade Stalin is again absolutely correct about the temporary nature of this peace movement as he says it's possible for these movements to postpone one war or another but they will never abolish wars as a whole because they do not direct their struggle towards the socialist revolution, the final struggle to end all wars.

Most important is that what Stalin taught about the abolition of imperialism as the main condition for the removal of the inevitability of imperialist wars:

It will not be enough to eliminate the inevitability of wars between capitalist countries generally. It will not be enough, because, for all the successes of the peace movement, imperialism will remain, continue in force -- and, consequently, the inevitability of wars will also continue in force.

    To eliminate the inevitability of war, it is necessary to abolish imperialism.

So it must be our task as communists to rise to the leadership of the peace movement and direct it towards the struggle to end not just The war but all wars, forever, in perpetuity, which again can only be achieved after the world socialist revolution and the construction of Communism.

Remark of the US-Section

In terms of the struggle against Zionism on the home front it must be said that the tactics of the Zionists boarder on McCarthyian. They have taken to making anti-Zionists “unhirable” (their words) by plastering their faces around the internet and in one instance on the back of a truck with a list of their “anti semetic crimes” which inevitably ammount some level of oppostion to Israel they brand us as “terrorists” or at least “terrorist sympathizers” which is not too dissimilar to what was done to peacefighters in 2001 so we see that the capitalists are recycling tactics. The brave few Jews who fight againist Zionism face total ostracization, even they get tared by the label “anti-semite” or “self hating jew” which is a hard burden to bear but it is from these people that the Israeli section or will be built, or at the very least some Hebrew translators may be gained. The Isrealis are pumping the internet full of low effort propaganda the most resent of which was a “list of names of Hamas terrorists” which turned out to be an Arabic calender, they are making themselves look like bloody minded fools beflre the world.

By all account the situation in Gaza is dreadful and getting worse it is likely that fighting will spread to the south and on the West Bank Zion-Fascist paramilitaries harras any Palestinian they can get their hands on.
