Vidyut pov.....

The party is going in full swing and I looked at my beautiful wife who was laughing and chatting with her friends standing near the dance floor.

She looked really enchanting in the black gown that she wore and the diamond necklace complemented her beauty..

Suddenly some one turned my face grabbing my chin .
Mujhe bhi dekh le ....Sanjana tere saath hi rehti hai .....Daksh said making me groan .

Tu Dekhne layak nahi hai ...I commented directing my view to my wife again who went somewhere with her friends and I sighed.

We are planning a baby ......I told him and he coughed.
Mujhe kyu bata raha hai ......he said clearing his throat and I groaned.

Because Smitha (Daksh wife) is a Gynac....and you know Sanjana has endometriosis ......I said and he hummed.

Why are you stressing yourself......You can consult with Smitha regarding this ... He said and I nodded .

I just don't want her to feel low if things doesn't work in our favour. You know how much she loves kids .....I said and he patted my shoulder.

Be positive....sab acha hi hoga ......He said and I hummed and we started discussing business and met  people around.

As I came out of the bathroom after freshining up and looked at my wife who was squeling with joy jumping around and I chuckled.

Vidyut......Bhai made me the the project manager for the upcoming fashion week in New York.......Ohhh God....I am so excited......She said .
Congratulations love.....I said hugging her .

But I will have to go there to complete this project.....She pouted.
But it's next year ...that means I still have 6 months.....She said and I nodded pecking her head.

So shall we postpone our baby planning....I asked her.
Noooooo.......we will plan a baby but you know I have certain medical condition and now this project.....can we opt for another options .....She asked and I frowned.

What other options....I asked ,making myself comfortable on the couch and she sat in my lap .

First promise me you won't get angry and will listen me to carefully....she said and I snickered.
If you already know that whatever you are going to say can make me angry then why to say it on first place and spoil the mood I said playing with her fingers.

Because It's my birthday today and you promised to fulfill all my demands and I don't want to let this opportunity pass .....She said making me raise my eyebrows .

Go ahead ...I encouraged her and she nodded.
Can we go for Surrogacy......she whispered nervously and I looked at her blankly.

She gulped looking at me and I took a deep breath.
Not possible. It's illegal in India now .....I said .

There is nothing Illegal and it's not we are going to announce it to the world how we made our baby ........she argued.

Sanjana.......you know Mom and Dad....They won't approve of it ...You know they are a bit traditional and emotional in terms of relationship and how things goes in the family.

And we have other options if you will face any problem in conceiving but this idea is not at all appealing to me .... surrogacy is a complete different thing.....I tried to explain it to her calmly.

But Vidyut _

No , I said . Don't argue Now .....I stated firmly looking into her eyes and she nodded.
Okay ...she muttered.

We should sleep now .....I have an early morning meeting with with some Foreign deligates tomorrow I said and we retired to sleep.

I kissed her forhead wishing her Good night and she did the same .

Next Day.....

I entred my cabin after the meeting and checked my phone.

Appointment with Doctor at 3 pm......She has texted.
Okay ....I will be there....I sent the reply and leaned on the chair.

I opened my laptop and searched a bit about Endometriosis and then surrogacy.....

commercial surrogacy is banned in India in 2024. Only altruistic surrogacy is permitted, with no monetary gain for surrogates. Who is eligible to become a surrogate mother under the new law? Eligible surrogate mothers in 2024 must be married, aged 25-35, and have one biological child.

As I read about the surrogacy procedure and it's legality......I became more sure of not opting for this .

Why would any one become a surrogate without any monetary gain.
A pregnancy changes a women body completely and why would anyone want to bear someone else's child for 9 month and on the top of that she should be married and already a mother .

But I don't want to risk Sanjana's health too .....
Ufff....I should wait for Doctors suggestions rather than stressing myself with all these things.
Afterall they are experts and knows better .

I got busy at work and left for the hospital after Lunch .

Sanjana has already gone through all the test and now were sitting in Smith's cabin .

Look Guys.....there are 10 percent chance of getting pregnant but that too can be risky due to endometriosis and cyistic overies.....Smitha said and I held Sanjana's hand who looked really sad and disappointed.

I knew it already.......I just cannot be a mother .....She said and a lone tear escaped her eyes.

Sanjana....stop crying my love .....I am sure Smitha will come up with a solution and we will have our own baby ....I said pulling her to my chest and looked at Smitha and she nodded at me .

Surrogacy is the best option......Smitha said .
But it's illegal....I said .
I know it is ...but that's the only available option.
We need to find a young healthy girl who can be a surrogate mother for your child and agrees to stay with you people for 9 months ... She said and I sighed.

Please Vidyut......I really want to have a baby ..... Sanjana pleaded and I gave in knowing I can't do anything in this matter .

Smitha if you find such girl then do tell us and don't worry about money . I am ready to pay any amount but do keep in mind that the one you choose should be a nice and trustworthy girl .... I said and she nodded .

Sanjana hugged me tightly as we came out .
Happy now ....I asked her .
Veryyyyy....she grinned making me peck her lips .

Vidyut what about Mom and Dad....She asked me as we drove to our home .
I will talk to them and will make them understand the situation.....don't stress yourself.....I said and she sighed resting her head on my shoulder.

I informed my family about our decision and they were a bit skeptical about it but then knowing we didn't have any other option  they agreed .

So that girl will stay with us for 9 months ....Mom asked me and I nodded.

Hmmm....we really can't take risk with the baby and also it's illegal so we have to keep it under wraps till the baby is born ...I told her and she nodded .

I know she didn't liked the idea but I can't take risk with Sanjana's health.
Moreover it's just a matter of 9 months .....

It's not like I have to keep that surrogate forever with me.......I thought.
