Pankhuri pov.......

College kesa chal Raha hai beta .....uncle inquired.

Jiii acha hai .....abhi 1 week reh gaya hai phir examination break ho jayega ....I told him and he nodded sipping his tea .

The idea of getting into college really turned out helpful as my mind gets diverted for some time.

But I do see any purpose now ......I am just going there to paas my time .
I have lost every hope and desire to move ahead in life .

As we were sitting He came back from office and sat with us in the lawn .

Tired !!! Aunty asked him and he nodded but then looked at the cup of tea in my hand and then his gaze met mine.

Juice and coconut water bhi piya hai ....I told him before he scold me for having tea .
Aunty and Uncle laughed while I looked down.
He didn't say anything thankfully.

Uncle left as he has to meet his friend in the nearby park while Aunty went in to bring him his coffee.

I sat there quietly finishing my tea fastly.
Dhire....He commanded and I slowed down feeling embarrassed.

How is your health....He asked me.
Good ...I said getting nervous now .
I don't know why but I became too awkward in his presence.

Rani came with his coffee and then left again. Living us alone.
I took a long sip and finished my tea .

I started to get up but he stopped me .
Kal tumhara checkup hai ....He informed and I nodded.

I will pick you up from your college after Lunch and then we will go for your check up .... He said and I hummed .

Is your tongue paining....He asked me and I looked at me with a frown and shook my head at his weired question.

Toh bolti kyu nahi....hmm hmmm kya hota hai ......He said getting a bit irritated and I sighed.

Kya bolu ......I asked him and he looked at me like I am some alien ..
How is your prepration going on ....Notes mil gaye the ...He inquired.

Jiii....I said and then continued looking up at him .
Prepration achi chal Rahi hai .....Notes bhi mil gaye the ....I said not wanting to anger him with my lack of response.

Laptop hai tumhare pass ...he asked after a while and I shook my head.
You will get by Dinner time...It will be helpful...He said .

Nahi mujhe nahi _I trailed off as he gave me a look .
Good ! He said as I looked away in defeat.

Khabi kisi ki baat maan bhi liya karo .... Kya pata kuch bhala ho jaaye tumhara....he said getting up and left from there.

What does he mean by that . Mei toh sab logo ki baat maan rahi hu.  I do as they say but he always has to comment on something.

I too went inside after sitting there for some more time.

I was busy reading my notes when Rani Didi called me for the Dinner.
I freshened up and went out to the dining room .

No one was there but ai heard Aunty's voice from the kitchen.
I walked towards the kitchen to find him Hugging his mother.

Mom......mujhe bilkul pasand nahi hai Palak panner.....mei nahi kaunga ye Ghaas.....He said scrunching his nose.
Palak achi hoti hai beta ...khani chaiye Hari sabzi ......Aunty told him .

Haan toh mei konsa pregnant hu jo muje achi cheeje hi khaani hai ....He said looking at me and Aunty laughed as she noticed me .

Arey Aao Pankhuri......bas ban gaya beta khana .....She said and I walked in .
Mei kuch help kar du aapki ....I asked her .
