I apologize for the long wait. Due to the summer heat almost melting me alive recently I had to take a break before I could start writing again. Regardless of that, I SHALL NEVER CEASE. Also because I've never written a trial scene before I want to warn Y'all that this chapter won't have as much dialogue as the last chapter

Bular was antsy as he waited for his que to enter the forge and begin his trial. Apparently because troll law required Bular to have a member of his tribe represent him in court, Aaarrrgghh had to stand in as the closest thing to a fellow tribe memeber for Bular. It also became clear that Bular's trial would go down in history as one of the most significant events to happen in trollmarket outside of the original founding of Heartstone Trollmarket. Bular looked around the hero's forge to find that a majority of trollmarket's population had arrived to watch his trial as they filled the balcony's of the forge.

Bular felt some relief to see Blinky in the hallway across from him with Borhart in his arms. Aaarrrgghh was nuzzling his mate as he got ready to meet up with Bular before the trial officially began. Borhart was peacefully napping in Blinky's arms unaware of what was going on around him or the fact that his father was fighting for his life and the right to live in peace with him.

" Hey mate that's your que. Now quit lollygagging and get into the cage.  Everyone who came here to witness your trial will feel safer with you behind bars... it would've been better to see you on the execution block but for that kid's sake you better come out of this alive"

Bular snapped out of his thoughts and stared at the guard annoyed at his tone. But was also comforted to know that there were more trolls rooting for his success... even if their motivations aren't for his sake. Bular grumbled as he stepped into the cage, it was far too small for his frame. But he understood that this was a formality and he was grateful that Kanjigar or possibly Queen Usurna was able to convince the Troll Tribunal to let him go this long before he had to enter the cage. After stepping in he was taken to the center of the Hero's forge to face the Troll Tribunal.

Bular noticed that out of all of the members of the Tribunal only Blungo the Quagawump king was absent and instead a representative was taking his place. Not that it would've made that much of a difference if anything he was glad he could avoid the awkward interaction, He still couldn't believe out of all the trolls that became his father's first kill it had to be the now shattered king. Bular mostly zoned out due to his fear getting the best of him as Aaarrrgghh stated his reasons for being here and his wish to prove that he will do what ever it takes to live in Trollmarket and raise his son... even if it meant putting down his swords for good

Almost everyone in the balcony was shocked and in disbelief to hear the rumors about Bular were true. Bular watched as Aaarrrgghh endured questions and rocks that were thrown at him by members of the Tribunal, Honestly Bular still couldn't get the point of the rocks since he had seen Human movies depicting trials where they just asked questions with a judge to act as a the voice of reason to control the chaos that could arise. Finally Vendel gave him the ultimate question that Bular had been expecting

" Bular as much as this goes against Troll law I want to ask you  this personally  If we were to allow you to live in Trollmarket you must understand that we would have to take precautions and have you take a vow of pacificism similar to the one Aaarrrgghh had taken centuries ago"

Bular was taken aback to see Vendel of all trolls breaking protocol with his question but didn't hesitate to speak up none the less "Yes of course, If it's for my son I'll even tell you and the rest of the Tribunal about the Killahead bridge and help Kanjigar fight against my father if I have to"

Queen Usurna declared that she and the rest of the tribunal shall has a recess to discuss their final decision in private while everyone was free to take a break. Even Bular was allowed a break from the cage... as long as he was heavily guarded. Only time will tell if he shall live or die today, But for now He'll get a chance to calm his nerves before he faces the final verdict that would determine his future.
