I know that it has been a long time since I last released a chapter i got caught up with life stuff and needed a break to gather inspiration for this chapter after the last one left me mentally burnt out. But I'm here now to give the people what they want and end the Draal conflict.  Just for clarification, since the final confrontation at the history museum never happened Draal will keep both of his arms in this AU. Bular was getting antsy with how everything has gotten awkward between his and Bagdwella's dynamic over the past 3 and a half months. Ever since the shoplifter incident, Bagdwella seemed to be having a hard time either talking with him or looking him in the eye. What confused Bular more was the fact that Bagdwella didn't look away from him in fear... he knew what that was like, So had the other residents of Trollmarket for that matter. Speaking of Bular hadn't seen Draal around Trollmarket ever since Draal last apologized to him for the misunderstanding.

Bular had become so distracted by these thoughts he accidently bumped into someone when he was out running errands with Borhart in his arms.

" OW sorry. I was being absent minded and didn't pay attention to where i was...  going."

Bular couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Draal in front of him. The two stood there unsure of what to say until Borhart broke the silence by crying. Bular and Draal panicked over Borhart's sudden outburst as they scrambled out of the shop to prevent causing a disturbance. Much to their relief Borhart stopped crying when Bular gave him his bottle.

" There we go, Borhart always makes a fuss when he's hungry. But I don't mind because he's cute... so... how have you been doing since that um... misunderstanding "

Draal barely looked Bular in the eye as he tried to come up with the right words. " I...I've been better now... My father thinks that whole incident is doing me some good. A way to " Humble me " he said... In all fairness he has a point, I really did develop a huge ego thinking that it's what i had to do as next... potentially next Trollhunter"

Bular could tell that Draal had changed for the better and that Kanjigar gave him that important talk he advised Kanjigar to have with his son months ago. He was also relieved that Draal was no longer stuck in his old fantasy as the " next Trollhunter to be" just because he was Kanjigar's son. Draal was young, Bular understood what it was like ... especially when it came to living up to his father's legacy.

Bular cleared his throat to regain Draal's attention " Draal just so that you know, you don't have to worry about me holding a grudge. Trust me when I say I know, but if you still feel the need to apologize to me when I've already forgiven you. Then by all means you are free to do so. "

Draal's finally looked Bular in the eye and no longer saw Bular as the vicious, heartless, monster that he once was... he was just a troll trying to make a better life for himself and his son. Draal chuckled as he watched Bular tending to Borhart, Seeing the two almost made him wish he and Nomura didn't have their falling out... maybe... maybe they could have been a family by now. Draal clenched his fist as he tried to say something to break the silence.

"I ... I still feel sorry for what I did, But I want to learn from this experience to become a better troll. I appreciate you forgiveness and I hope we can become...friends some day. In a unrelated note, Have you and Bagdwella you know... started courting each other. I'm only asking because ever since that little scene from before, Everyone has been gossiping about it... Bular... Bular? "

If Bular was human, His face would be red as a beet by now. It all made sense, The unafraid but weird looks from passers by, Blinky and Kanjigar's unusual remarks towards him whenever he was asked about his work life, Even the wishes of good luck for him and Bagdwella from Aaarrrgghh, Baal, Alva, and Grimel. That's what all of this was about... Oh god this must be why Bagdwella was so awkward with him.

(remember these three from Chapter 2. from left to right)

( I'll write a chapter about them in the future talking about their relation to Bular I just wanted to bring them back to the story after all this time)

Bular was so out of it thanks to his mind being clouded with shock, disbelief, and... embarrassment. He still didn't even remember how he finished his errands and return home. Bular just sat down in a chair trying to process everything after putting everything away and placing Borhart in his play pen. He... he hadn't thought about finding a mate in centuries even after he adopted Borhart. The last time he even thought about it was all the way back when his father told him to settle down and start a family of his own before... before he became alone. Bular also had to consider how Bagdwella was feeling about this misunderstanding, They were both just friends and had a professional work relation as employer and employee...

But a part of Bular did have feelings of wanting something more with her. Bular made up his mind to talk to Bagdwella about the situation. Both to figure out how this misunderstanding could have started in the first place... and to see if she had the same feelings he had. Who knows maybe this " courting" business could actually come become something real.
