Now, we are back to our regularly scheduled program. I apologize for the long wait. School has me swamped with extra work. Now, Draal can finally make his appearance in the story, along with some tension between Draal and his father.

Warning: This chapter has more dialogue  compared to the last one

Draal was staring at Bular from the shadows as he watched the former Gumm-gumm prince from afar. He still couldn't believe that his father of all trolls is letting Bular not only live in Trollmarket but without any other restrictions besides his " oath of pacifism". Draal scoffed at the idea of Bular actually going through his daily so freely and happily after everything he has done.

Both Draal and all of his friends have tried to convince either Vendel or his father to change their minds but to no avail. Draal took it upon himself to closely monitor Bular from a distance as the Trollhunter's son. As soon as Bular left for Bagdwella's fine gifts, Draal followed behind keeping a safe distance from Bular and himself. Draal had been following Bular for the past 3 weeks since Bular got his job at Bagdwella's shop. And so far, nothing has happened ... yet.

Draal also heard from his friends that Bular almost never does anything besides work outside of " his" home. At least Borhart looked happy... happier than he was before Bular was brought to Trollmarket . Draal would often watch Bular from a distance as he worked. Unfortunately for him, Bular hasn't done anything that would warrant an arrest or constitute as a violation to the set of conditions that Bular was given during his trial. Just as Draal started to lose hope something happened while he was lost in his thoughts

" HEY, GET BACK HERE YOU" Bular had just grabbed a youngling forcefully while Bagdwella was busy in the back, This was his chance. Draal ran inside of the shop and grabbed Bular by the arm.

" HEY WHAT ARE Y-"

" RUN NOW. Don't worry young one I'll deal with the Gumm-gumm menace once and for all"

Bular was now pinned down and leaning over a counter thanks to Draal holding him down while the youngling ran away from the shop. Draal looked Bular in the eye with smugness and a sense of pride now that he finally caught Bular red han-

" DRAAL WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS. LET GO OF BULAR NOW "

Draal instinctively froze when he heard his father's voice. After letting go of Bular and stepping aside Draal saw that his father was holding onto the wrist of the youngling from earlier in a firm grip. The youngling himself looked ashamed the second that Bagdwella finally got out to see what the commotion was.

" It's him, Kanjigar, that little hooligan has been stealing from my shop for the past 4 days. I'm glad that I told Bular about him when I did or else he might have gotten away again"

Draal's face went pale when he realized that Bular was trying to apprehend a shoplifter and not trying to cause harm to the youngling unprovoked. Kanjigar gave Draal a look of disappointment as he addressed the situation at hand. Bular looked at Draal sympathetically as Kanjigar left to take the youngling to his parents to discuss their son's punishment for his thievery.

"We'll be talking about this when we get home Draal. Don't expect me to be lenient with you after the horrible behavior you shown today. I'm disaponited with you, son"

Draal watched as his father left the shop with a displeased look in his eyes. He wallowed in shame until Bagdwella tapped his shoulder to gain his attention. She too looked displeased with Draal after hearing what had happened between him and Bular.

" Well... don't you have something to say to my employee... and don't expect me to be so forgiving about the mess you made just because your the Trollhunter's son"

Draal could barely look Bular in the eye as he gave him a quiet apology. Bular tried to reassure Draal that he wasn't that bothered with what had happened, Despite being wary of the Kitlar troll. But Draal was too ashamed to stay any longer and ran out of the shop. Draal returned home and retreated to his room. Meanwhile Bular was helping Bagdwella clean up the mess that Draal had caused. During the clean up he thought about Draal, more specifically his relationship with his father.

From what little he had seen he could tell just how...strained the father and son were with each other. It was also clear to Bular that Draal was trying to live up to his father's legacy as the Trollhunter.  Bular sighed again out of pity for the young troll.  Thanks to his rather...blood soaked history, he had seen with first hand experience just how much of a great burden wielding the sword of daylight truly possessed.

" Bular are you okay? you've been spacing out ever since Draal left" Bular stared down at Bagdwella's eye level after she got his attention. It took a good long minute for Bular to collect his thoughts and have a clear idea of what to tell Bagdwella. He knew that he couldn't hide it from her, amazingly despite the little time he had spent with Bagdwella. He had gotten to know her well enough to know that he couldn't hide anything from her.

" To be honest I'm worried about Draal. And no it's not because I'm worried he could cause another scene. But because I'm worried for Draal, he and his father's relationship... not to mention Draal's idea of being what it took to wield the mantel of Trollhunter is clearly through rose colored lenses. I'm just glad that both you and your shop won't suffer from Draal's reckless actions from now on. "

While Bagdwella didn't fully understand Bular's reference, She was able to understand the sentiment behind Bular's words. The fact that Bular was worried for Draal's sake above all else  at this moment surprised Bagdwella and warmed her heart. Bagdwella shook her head as she returned to her work while trying to ignore these strange feelings she was starting to feel for Bular. She was just appreciative of Bular considering her feelings above his own when it came to Draal's earlier ruckus. These strange emotions and thoughts will surely go away with time... right.
