I apologize if the recent Chapter releases seemed too long compared to some of the earlier chapters I've been busy with college and work recently. But regardless I still love writing this story and wish to keep going until the end and I have plans to write more stories in the future. Until then I hope Y'all enjoy the rest of the Chapter

As the whelp drinks the last of his formula, Bular can feel some of his fatigue returning due to his interrupted sleep. But regardless he feels more happy seeing the whelp being so at peace in his presence... it has been so long since he can feel like he can truly be relaxed ever since the Battle of Killahead Bridge.

After the whelp finished the last of their formula and been burped by Bular, the Gumm-gumm prince decided that it was time he get some sleep in his nest but that led to the question as to where would he whelp sleep. Since Bular acted on impulse bringing the whelp to his lair he didn't get a chance to set up a crib for the whelp. Leaving him with no other choice but to let the whelp sleep with him...

" it's for the best, the whelp was already forced to spend some of the first few hours of his life left cold and alone he didn't need to spend his first hours of sleep all by himself" Bular thought to himself as he made his way to his so called bedchambers hidden within the walls of the dilapidated building that he called "home" to sleep in during the daylight hours.

Bular placed the whelp into his nest so that he can change out of his kilt before going to sleep since his kilt and sword holsters were too uncomfortable to sleep in . Normally Bular didn't bother with the act of changing into sleepwear finding such an act to time consuming and opted for simply sleeping in his nest naked. But now that he was sharing a nest with a whelp he KNEW how inappropriate that was now so after he made sure that he was safely resting in his nest he quickly took off his kilt and took a few bear pelts he had lying around and made them into a makeshift kilt as a form of night wear.

Bular put his kilt and swords away while thinking about the situation that he was in now that his mind was more clear. He was putting time and effort to care for a whelp with no relations to him but why.... why bother with the whelp himself why not just simply leave the whelp to be cared for by the goblins or simple leave the whelp for Kanjigar to find and return to trollmarket where he belonged....

The whelps crying distracted Bular from his thoughts leaving him with no choice but to forget everything to focus on getting the whelp to settle down. At first Bular was annoyed with the whelp crying for no reason but as soon as he picked him up in his arms he realized the whelp was fearful of being alone once again when he left to go change. Upon this realization he wasted no time and laid down in his nest with the whelp placed on top of his chest as he calmly reassured him that he wasn't going anywhere. Bular unknowingly smiled seeing the whelp feel comforted in his presence as the little one fell asleep in his arms.
