Miko {Slow Updates!}

Ch. 24:"Don't you dare hurt her!"

⚠️A/N: So for context to this question {for people who don't pay attention/forgot/didn't know}, I used to do 1500 word chapter with the exception of putting two chapters together for the new version of the 'Miko' to make them long so would y'all want 1500 worded chapter's on the old Miko fanfic to get faster updates and once 2 chapters get posted on the old one, I will put the edited version of said chapters on the this version of the fanfic just so y'all get faster updates? If no one answer's the next chapter will come out whenever it comes out and this applies to all my fanfic's. I write more and quicker when I know I have more than one person who want's chapter's more often/regularly. Oh, also if interested: I have a new fanfic that's been a plot bunny for over a year {yes, a literal year} I have two variants I will post the two variants if enough people want me to but it won't have chapter's yet though only a A/N explaining my madness as to why there's two variants of the same story so comment if y'all want the somewhat long explanation and maybe hype for it. Again, the more people who comment wanting to read more is how fast I update, and this goes for every story I write. Happy reading y'all! ⚠️

Miko's optics bounced around the med bay in mild boredom. Soundwave had given her a data-pad for entertainment before he left for a mission with a couple Vehicon's after being fixed up by Knockout. Somehow Miko had sat potentially through Knockout's complaints about even having to do his job seeing as he apparently had other plans with Breakdown but upon Breakdown's promise of doing whatever they had planned later, Knockout had quickly gone back to work repairing every-con who needed repairing.  Miko finally placed the data-pad in her lap as she turned it on. She then began to swing her ped's back and forth as she went back to entertaining herself with the data pad Soundwave had given back to her. She had expected the same episodes of an old sparkling program to rewatch to pass her time but to her surprise not only was the old ones still on it but there had been new ones downloaded or perhaps programmed on the Data-pad.

Somewhere between watching her new cartoons and glancing around the med bay she had somehow fallen into recharge but had awoken a few hours later to Knockout conversing with Breakdown loud enough to have woken her up, at least she thought he was loud enough and surly that must have been why she had woken up. She clicked and squeaked to get their attention which worked seeing as Knockout quickly turned to her. "Great, you're up." He stated, somehow a smile on his faceplate when he had just been frowning about something before had. "Tall, dark, and scale-y wants to see you."

Miko frowned at first before realizing what he meant. "Yay!" She squealed as she was picked up by Knockout, data-pad and all.

 
"So, when do you think he will return?" Breakdown asked which caused Miko to look at him momentarily but in true sparkling fashion she quickly got distracted by the opening doors. "If he return's" Breakdown added as if an afterthought.

"Soundwave? He'll be back, I highly doubt he would let the Autobot's hold him prisoner for to long, all though." Knockout dragged out looking at Breakdown for a moment then back at the hall as they walked. " If he did 'kick the bucket' as human's say, you wouldn't see me shed an optic fluid about it." Knockout stated as a matter of fact. "After all he is 'Tall, Dark and creepy'."

"I'm sure he'll turn up eventually since you know how he is. He can get himself out of situations pretty well." Breakdown stated matter of fact.

It was interesting to hear that Soundwave was apparently missing which did concern Miko a little bit since she had just seen him earlier that day but since Breakdown's reassurance of turning up did help her, she quickly decided she was tired of being held so Miko struggled for a moment as she wanted to get down and walk herself, after a moment of finally getting Knockout's attention she was set on her ped's and with a happy smile she took off down the hall following the 'pull' of her spark, Data-pad clutched in her servo's as the conversation behind her went on.
