Third Person's Point Of View
As the group made their way through the desolate streets, their nerves were on edge, each member scanning their surroundings for potential threats. The weight of their mission and the danger of their environment made every step feel heavy with tension.
Colet suddenly stopped in her tracks. Her instincts screamed that something was wrong. She signaled the group to halt and remain silent. Her fingers tightened around the grip of her gun, which she kept discreetly tucked in her pocket.
The usual hum of the post-apocalyptic world seemed to fall away, leaving an unsettling silence that set everyone on edge.
The girls stopped and looked around, their breaths coming out in shallow, anxious gasps. Mikha, Jhoanna, and Colet instinctively took positions in front of the others, their eyes darting around, searching for any sign of movement.
The tension was palpable, a thick, almost suffocating sense of dread that made every sound seem amplified.
It wasn't long before their unease was confirmed. A group of men, heavily armed and determined, emerged from the shadows, encircling the girls. The men moved with military precision, their guns trained on the group.
The girls, though clearly outnumbered, stood their ground. Mikha, Jhoanna, and Colet pointed their own weapons, their expressions hardened into masks of resolve and fear.
"Lower your weapons!" one of the armed men barked, his voice cold and commanding. His stance was assertive, a clear indication of his authority among the group.
Colet's eyes narrowed, her grip on her gun unwavering. "No, lower yours," she countered, her voice steady despite the trembling in her hands.
Her stance was defiant, her determination to protect her friends outweighing her fear.
The confrontation was tense, the standoff between the armed men and the girls creating a taut line of conflict that seemed ready to snap at any moment.
Maloi, Sheena, and Aiah stood behind the defensive trio, their faces pale with a mix of fear and determination.
The leader of the armed men, a tall figure dressed in a dark suit, stepped forward. His presence seemed to command respect and fear from his subordinates.
As he approached, the men parted to make way for him. He gestured with a casual flick of his hand, and his men reluctantly lowered their guns.
Colet's eyes widened in recognition and fear. The man's smirk was unsettling, a twisted hint of familiarity that made Colet's stomach churn. "Look at you," the man said, his tone mocking and disdainful.
Colet's composure began to crumble. "What the actual fuck are you doing here?" she demanded, her voice a mix of anger and desperation.
The man tilted his head, his gaze narrowing. "I need the papers. Alam kong nakuha niyo na. Give it to me."
Mikha, her eyes darting between Colet and the man, muttered under her breath, "Who is this guy?"
Colet gulped, her face pale as she replied, "It's Sheena's father."
The revelation hit the group like a ton of bricks. The man's gaze shifted to Sheena, his eyes cold and unfeeling. "And also Sheena," he added with a sinister edge.
Maloi's protective instincts kicked in. She moved closer to Sheena, holding her hand tightly. The situation was deteriorating rapidly, and Maloi's resolve to keep Sheena safe was unwavering.
The man advanced toward Colet, who was visibly trembling. She raised her gun, her voice filled with desperation. "Isa! Isa pang lapit ipuputok ko to!"
But despite her bravado, the man's cold gaze and his imposing presence made it clear that he wasn't easily intimidated.
