(Nina's P.O.V)

Today was difficult at work. Tayah had been really emotional. But, she was opening up and that was the main thing. Texting my hubby, I thought about more wedding planning. Both of us were going to sit down and talk through our list. Simon just got distracted. I had been having more nightmares lately. I couldn't stop screaming. Lori asked me if I was okay. I admitted that I wasn't. Axel seemed better though. He said that school was okay. He was seeing Robin on a regular basis. Simon was also looking for a new job. He was trying so hard. I was proud of him. Getting home, I put my bag on the couch. Looking in the freezer, I saw vegetables and steak. Taking that out, I prepped it. My man loved the fact that I could cook. He could cook too. Both of us were pretty good. As I seasoned the steak, I heard my phone. It was Phoebe. 'Hey mama!' She giggled. 'Hey lovely. I was calling you to see how things are.' Finishing off the prep, I held the phone. 'Thanks. You're so kind. How's your little angel?' Phoebe smiled. 'She's perfect. Honestly.. she's so cute. She's starting to gaze now. It's adorable.' I cooed. 'That stage is so cute.' I asked her how the sessions were going. 'I have my second one this evening.' I smiled. 'That's really good. Are you enjoying completing your goals?' She admitted that it was hard. 'It isn't easy. Sometimes, when she's crying.. I just sit there in bed. Crying.' I said that was normal.

'Babies are definitely unpredictable.' She also said that the walks were helping. Checking on the dinner, I heard the front door. 'Hey mom.' Smiling, I saw my son walk towards me. 'Hey Ax.' As he hugged me, he smiled. 'What's up?' He said nothing. As he went upstairs, I checked on the dinner, Phoebe asked me about Liv's hen night. 'So.. I was thinking that we could turn up and surprise her." Phoebe said that sounded great. "She will love it." I heard crying in the background. 'I've got her.' I said that she was lucky. 'I am. Finn has been amazing. He's been pretty secretive lately too.' Laughing, I joked that the reason why he might be keeping secrets in a good way is because he might be planning to pop the question! 'Oh come on. Wev'e known one another for a long time. And I have just had his baby.' I said that he could still do it. 'Now.. you've got me thinking Miss Rodgers.' Laughing, I said that it might be true.

Checking on the dinner, I then told Phoebe to text me. 'I will.' Axel then headed downstairs. 'I'll set the table.' Thanking him, I asked him about how his day had been. 'It was alright thanks. I had a session with Robin today. We spoke about some things to do with emotions.' Sitting down at the table, the door opened. 'Hey guys!' I had missed my man. Kissing him, he touched Ax's shoulder. 'Hey mate.' He said hey back. 'I'm glad that you're okay.' As he put his stuff down, he then said that he was going to have a shower before he had something to eat. 'Okay. That's fine.' As he went upstairs, Axel continued to talk. 'Lexi and I are still talking.' Smiling, I said that was good.

'Do you have any other friends?' He said yes. 'That's nice.' As he finished dinner, he went to clean up his plate. 'Mom..' Turning to look at him, I asked what was wrong. 'I just feel sad.' I went to hug him. As he dried his hands, I held him. 'I have been feeling weird.' At least he was communicating. That was good. 'I feel odd around everyone else. What if I turn out like him?' I looked at our son. He was still hurting. 'Look at me.' His eyes sparkled. 'You will not turn out like him. Me and your dad are so, so proud of who you are. We love you. Your family loves you.' He asked me if that was true. 'Of course it is baby.' As I kissed his forehead, he said that he was going to have a shower. As I saw him head upstairs, Simon walked towards me. 'You smell nice.' I giggled. 'Thanks babe.' As he heated up his dinner, I sat at the table. 'What's wrong Nina?' As he turned and looked at me.. a recurring thought popped back into my mind..

he doesn't need to know how you're feeling.. just shut him out.

He looked at me..

'Axel is feeling odd. He thinks that he'll turn out like Seth. He said that he feels different to his friends.' Simon then came over and sat next to me with his plate. As he gazed at me, he took my hand. 'I can tell that you're having a weird thought.' He knew me so well. 'I just want him to feel comfortable. He's just figuring out how to..' Simon held my hand. 'I know baby.' As he ate his food, he asked me more about the wedding list. 'Well, I have sorted out my dress fitting day with the ladies. It will be on July 12th.' Simon smiled. 'That sounds amazing Nina.' I asked him if he enjoyed his dinner. 'I did thankyou.' He kissed me. 'I love you.' I giggled. As he finished cleaning up, he took his phone out. 'What are you up to?' He said nothing. 'Yeah right.' Giggling, I then heard my phone buzz. It was Lori.
