Chapter 2..

(Olivia's P.O.V)

Getting up, Elliot yawned. "Morning sleepyhead.' He kissed me. "It's so early.' As he helped me make the bed, we heard the kids. "Morning Dad!' Paige popped her head in. "Morning sweetheart.' She then hugged me. She was 13 and she looked just like me. Long brown hair and brown eyes. Ari then said hi. "I've got art club after school.' We said that was fine. "I'm in the shower first.' Paige went in as Caleb and Ariel went downstairs for breakfast.

We had also moved house. It was beautiful. The kids decided on their bedrooms too.. Ariel's was beautiful. It was a mix of dark browns and creams. She loved it. Caleb had decided to go for something simple yet very grown up... Paige had decided to go for something very different. As I took out my work clothes, Elliot asked about date night. "We'll arrange that.'

I loved my kids so much. We were also planning our wedding which is great fun. As I got ready, I brushed my hair. Putting on some hand cream, I looked at myself in the mirror. Everything was going to be ok. Heading downstairs, the kids were talking. "So yep. I've got Ms Verne for Maths. Great." Caleb was wearing a hoodie. He never usually wears hoodies. "She's not that bad. I have my mentor session this morning then I have English.' Ariel sipped her tea. "That sounds awesome.' Her phone then rang. "Hi bestie! Oh, you're at the bus stop? See you in a bit.' Getting her backpack, she took a cereal bar. "Bye Mom. Love you." I said I loved her too. "I'm just going to make something then I'm off too Mom.' I asked him if he was ok. "I'm fine.' He looked tired. He then went upstairs to get ready as Paige came downstairs. "Morning Mom." I kissed her cheek. "Morning sweetheart. Have you got cheer squad practice after school?" She said yes. "I'll text you when I'm done.' She got a cereal bar and then said bye to us both. "Bye honey.' Elliot then put his jacket on. "I'll miss you so much baby..' He kissed me gently. "I'll miss you too handsome. Let me know how your first day goes.' He said that he would.

Getting my bag, I made my way to work.

Once I got there, I saw Finn along with Kat. "Hey Kat. It's nice to have you here.' She shook my hand. "It's nice to be here Olivia.' Finn then asked how I'm doing. "I'm doing well. The kids are all great. How's Pheobe doing?" He laughed. "She's hormonal. She's addicted to sweets.' I giggled. "It won't be long now.' Heading into my office, I looked over some stuff to do with a trafficking ring. It had been going on for 9 months. The guys had been on the run for years. I was looking into the girl's files when I got a call from a parent. "Hello. Yes, I'm Olivia Benson. Your daughter is Verity? Ok. When was the last time you saw her?' Amanda then knocked on my door. "Hi." She sat on the couch. "Ok. Thankyou for telling me that. I'll search for her. We'll do everything we can. Ok. Ok. Bye.'

"Hi Amanda. How are you?" She smiled. "I'm great thanks.' I asked her how my goddaughters were. 'They are so good. Having two 14 year olds is challenging but good.' I laughed. "I remember Ari at that age.' She asked how her godson was doing. "He's alright thanks.' Heading out into office, me and Amanda worked with Finn and Kat on a plan. 'Carisi is at the DA's office today.'

It was going to be a busy day...
