Chapter 64♡

(Simon's P.O.V)
Me and my gorgeous woman were going through our wedding guest list. "Your mom and dad. The ladies and all of their plus ones. What about Damon? He's like one of your best mates." I said to put him on the list too.

'I need to text him actually." I had my dress day tomorrow afternoon. I had been looking  at dresses actually. Most of them were lovely.. "oh.. you know what Pheobe said earlier?" Simon said to tell him. I felt his lips on my neck again..😍😍

"Well, Pheebs said that she can see us having a little girl and another little boy." He giggled. "She's right though. That's funny." As he continued to kiss my neck, he said that he had organised drinks for date night. "Oooo.. that's exciting. I've found somewhere for us to have dinner." Looking at the list, I saw that we things were being ticked off bit by bit. As I put that down, I stroked my fingers through my man's hair.

"I love you. You're amazing." I said to him.. "I love you too babe." He was becoming comfortable and he realised it. "I had better shower before I start snoring." Giggling, I went to check on Axel.

Knocking on his bedroom door, he said that I could come in. "Hey Mom." Sitting on his bed, I said hi back. "What are you up to?" He explained that he was working on some things for his first proper session with Robin.

"I'm also thinking about meeting up with Caleb." I said that was nice. "Both of us have skateboards so we were thinking about heading to a local skate park." I smiled. "That sounds fab." He then asked how I was doing. "I'm alright thankyou sweetie. Work is busy, but I'm getting there." He asked me how me and Simon were getting on. 'Both of us are great. He said that he's excited to marry me.' Our son smiled. 'I'm looking forward to wearing my suit. I've been talking to Lexi a lot more as well.' I loved that Axel had a great bond with me as his mom. 'Ahh. That's lovely. What is she interested in?' He then told me a bit more. 'She loves to sing. And she's into movies.' Smiling, I giggled. 'That's nice to know. Thankyou for being open with me. I love you more for that.' Kissing his forehead, he cheekily wiped it. 'I'm getting too old for these kisses now Mom.' Smiling, I asked him if he wanted a drink or something to eat. 'I would love some nachos.' Giggling, I heard Si. 'I agree bud. Do you wanna help?' He then nodded. 'See you in a bit Mom.' 

Getting my phone, I saw texts from my mom and dad. 

Hey sweetheart. We were wondering if you, Ax and Simon would like to come over for dinner tomorrow?

Texting her back, I read the message from my dad. 

Hi sweetheart. I'm thinking about inviting your brother to dinner. 

Texting my dad back, I then got a text from Greg. 

Hi Nina. I was just checking in with you. It has been a while since you and Simon attended some therapy sessions and I just wanted to see how the two of you are getting on. 

Replying to that, I went into the bedroom. Just checking over what the both of us needed. When Axel was at his grandparents, it was even better. Having that one on one time with Simon was amazing. We communicated more when it came to intimacy. It was lovely. Making a list, I then went downstairs. I hadn't heard from my colleague at work for a while. I hope that she was okay.  Putting my list on the side, I thought about being a bridesmaid in a few weeks! I was so excited. Olivia and Elliot were such a wonderful couple. I was looking forward to enjoying the day with everyone.

"Ha ha! I'll tell Mom what you said!" Heading downstairs, I stood by the door. "Tell Mom what?" Both of them turned around.. "Oh.. Dad said that you liked him giving you neck kisses!" I blushed so badly! Getting drinks, I got glasses out too. Hitting my man on the arm playfully, he grinned at me.

As we sat down to eat, Axel spoke about school. "It's alright. Sports lessons are my favourite. Robin is advising me to really embrace my emotions at the moment." I glanced at my boy. He was thirteen. He had just started to process the fact that I had been through a really tramautic ordeal. "Well, I'm proud of you Ax. You're going to be okay." Simon rubbed his son's arm. "Well, that was tasty." I cleaned up. "So, I'm hoping to go looking for a suit soon Ax.' He smiled. 'Sounds cool. What colour were you thinking of going for?' I asked him if he wanted to help me. 'I would like that.' He took a bottle of water from the fridge. 'See you in a bit. Thanks for dinner.' Holding Nina's hand, I gazed at her. 'I can't believe that you're going to be my wife so soon." She smiled at me. "I know." Admiring her, she asked me how I felt about marriage.

"I feel like we've been through so much together. I love the idea of being your wife. Being your girlfriend has been amazing." I loved her so much. "Would you like to have more children?" She giggled at the thought of it. "Meeting Harper a few weeks ago made me think about it a lot more. "She's honestly so adorable. It made me think about Ax. Him being a baby flew by. But, we are getting older now babe." He agreed. "I'm only 29." We were going out tomorrow night. It was going to be so lovely. Simon had been looking for a new job as well. He did say that he was looking for something stable. He enjoyed it at the package company, but he was looking for a challenge.

"I'll be upstairs." Feeling his lips on my cheek, I smiled. Once I had cleaned up, I headed upstairs. Checking my phone, I put it on the bedside table. I felt SO happy.

As my man relaxed, I went to get my night clothes out. I was back at work tomorrow. I was really good at helping people. It was nice to do that. "Hey.. you do understand that you are so good looking right?" Turning around, I blushed..

"Well, thanks future husband."

(Phoebe's P.O.V)

I was in bed. Finn was making both of us a hot drink. Harper had finally gone off. She was screaming.. I just comforted her. She is certainly a bit of a handful at times. The newborn stage is so lovely though. Finn has really started to bond with our little girl. I was planning to head out tomorrow morning. Going on walks with her really soothed her. Closing my eyes, I smiled. Life was great for me, my man and our little sunshine. I had an appointment with her tomorrow as well. My scars on my tummy were still healing. I grew an entire human inside of me! My body looked different.. but the girls were great at reassuring me.

"Hey you." Smiling, Finn passed me my mug.   "Hey. Thanks for this." Sitting in bed together was just so nice. "It's okay. How are you feeling?" He gazed at me. "I'm actually good. I feel calm." Sipping my drink, I asked him how he was doing. "I'm alright. Work is crazy though." He was working a few nights at the moment on a case and it was draining him. I could tell. Stroking his cheek, I told him that I loved him. "I do. So much.' He kissed me. His touch was so soft. 

'I love Harper so much Pheebs. When I look at her, I see you. She's so cute.' He was right. She did look like me. Asking him if he had finished his drink, he said yes. 'I'll take these mugs downstairs and then I think I need to sleep.' My hormones were so up and down. I had to remember that I was still going through the postpartum stage. As I washed the mugs, I felt an anxious feeling wave through my body. Placing my hands on the worktop, I did a few deep breaths. 

'You're safe. Harper is sleeping. Finn loves you.' I was just repeating those phrases to myself. Taking a few deep breaths, I heard some footsteps. 'Babe?' Turning around, he stood next to me. 'Hey. I was wondering where you were.' As he took my hand, he wiped away a stray tear. "I've got you." When I calmed down, Finn asked me if I wanted a drink. "I'm okay thankyou." Heading back upstairs, I went back to bed. Finn held my hand all night. I had to talk to Nadine. Harper was my world. Finn was the sweetest.

Trying to sleep, Finn kissed my cheek. "You're okay baby. I've got you." I then felt my eyes close. I was safe. I was okay.
