Chapter 4♡

(Pheobe's P.O.V)

Waiting for our little sunshine felt like forever. I was now huge!🤣 Sorting out the bedroom, I sat down sorting out all the stuff. The clothes were just adorable. Mom had been staying with us for a few days. Just so that she could help us. "Here we go sweetheart." I kissed her cheek. "So, that's her cot sorted. Her wardrobe and chest of drawers are all up.' That's right.. we were having a girl! The other ladies knew too which was amazing. They were all so excited. Mom kept cooing at all the little bits. "I can't believe that you're going to be a mom.' I said the same thing. I was so focused on work. And myself, but this was the next stage in mine and Finn's life. "Hey." He came in with a box. "Aw. What's this?' He gave it to me. Looking at the box, I smiled. Giving him a kiss, he touched my cheek. It had a bracelet and a necklace in it.

"Mom. This is lovely. I adore it.' I hugged her. "That's ok sweetheart." Once the bedroom was sorted, Finn helped me sort out my hospital bag. "Pyjamas, fresh clothes, a good book. Headphones, phone and some extra sweets.' Finn giggled. "Your list is very detailed Pheebs.' I said that I like to be organised. "It just helps me a lot.' Zipping up the bag, Mom said she would cook us something to eat. "That's nice. Thanks Melinda." As me and Finn relaxed, we spoke about what the baby's full name would be. "Well, we both like the name Harper. So, you should pick a middle name. He kissed me on the head. "Ashleigh sounds nice. What do you think?" I blushed. "It sounds so mice babe.' Placing my hand on my stomach, he looked at me. "She's kicking.' Finn started talking. "I'm your daddy. I'm going to protect you, teach you how to make funny faces.' I giggled. "And Mommy will teach you how to be a boss.' Linking my hand with his, mom called us. "Dinner is ready.' As we went into the kitchen, we thanked her. 'Thanks Mom.' Finn thanked her too. "I'm going to get an early night. Enjoy lovebirds.'

As we tasted the incredible pasta with feta cheese, we spoke about the Alex and Chris situation. "She's pretty hurt about it. She told Liv that something happened. She then tried to call me.' Finn then said that Chris maybe needed some professional help. "Their sons must be so confused at the moment.' I agreed. "I'm going to text her later. Just check in with her." I said how tasty the food was. Drinking some water, I felt a Braxton Hick.. "Ow.. woah, these 'contractions' do not play around." Finn giggled. Then, he asked if I was okay. "I'm good thanks handsome.' He blushed. "You're so beautiful Pheebs.' Once we had finished dinner, he cleaned up. "Try not to move as much." He kissed me. "You're so cute.' He said that I was sweet. "Dinner was great.' Sipping some water, Finn suggested running me a bath. "That sounds amazing.' He helped me up. 'Then, I can give you a massage.'

"I should reward you..' I kissed him gently. "Go upstairs and I'll be there in a minute.' Intimacy would help our little girl along anyway. I checked that Mom was okay. "I'm fine thankyou sweetheart. Was dinner nice?' I said it was lovely. "Thanks.' She kissed my cheek. "Finn is going to run me a bath. Night. I love you.' She kissed my cheek. Finn then hugged me.

"Let me run that bath for you.' Getting undressed, I heard my phone. It was Liv.

Hey Pheebs! Me and the girls have organised a baby brunch for you! It will be at Nina's house this weekend at 2pm. Xx 

That was so sweet of them. Texting her back, I took out some cosy pjyamas. Getting a towel. "The bath is ready babe." Finn was cute.❤️ I had jogging bottoms on. Finn wholf whistled. "Ha ha.' Getting in the bath, I exhaled. "This water feels so good on my skin.' Honestly our little girl was comfortable inside of me. Using some bath oils, I just took the time to relax. Thinking about my job too, I mentally reminded to inform my boss that I was on maternity leave. I loved my job. It was great. Soaking my body, I felt flutters in my stomach. "Hey little girl."

(Olivia's P.O.V)

"So yep. We have to get in there quick and arrest him. The mother has contacted me. She's worried sick.' Kat agreed. "We should. What address is it?" I said it was 29 Prospect Lane.' Finn googled it. "Right. Let's go. We have to be careful about this.' Putting my jacket on, we headed out. I hope Elliot was getting on well. I'll text the kids when I'm back. "Carisi is still at the office. I'll text him.'

As we headed out, we put our jackets on. I quickly texted Elliot.

I hope OC is going well. Miss and love you lots Stabler xxxxxxx

Getting in the police cars, we drove to the address. We saw that the door was open.. getting my gun out, Finn, Amanda and Kat followed me in slowly. We saw two young girls cold out on the floor. "She's got a pulse Captain!' Kat told me. "Ok. Call a bus!' Heading towards diffrent rooms, I heard a guy. 'She's going to work for me. I need that money and I need it now!' I pointed my gun at him. "What did you just say?!' He looked at me. "Who are you?' I showed my badge. "Hands behind your back now!' Cuffing him, I asked him where Verity was. "She's in that back room!' Unlocking it, she cried. "Hi sweetie. I'm with SVU. I'm here to help. Shhh.. shh.' I untied her. Getting a blanket, I covered her up. "Where's.. my mom?" I said that she was at the station. "Let's get you out of here.' Taking her back to the car, Kat was waiting outside. "The ambulance will take her to the hospital to get a kit. I asked Kat if Verity could go with her. "I want to see my mom.' I looked at her. "We'll get your mom to meet you there. Stay with Detective Tamin.' She cried.

As I made my way to the hospital, I contacted Verity's mother. "Hi Sharon. Yes, the guy has been arrested and your daughter is on the way to a hospital with a member of my team.' She thanked me. "That's ok. I'll see you soon.'

Hearing my phone, it was my boo.

My day is going really well. The team are great. Miss and love you too Benson.  Xxxx

I checked in with Nina. I knew that she would be starting her new job soon. She was going to be a great counsellor.

Driving to the hospital, I saw Verity's mom. "Hi.' She thanked me. "We've caught our main suspect. His name is James Parker. He's 22 and he lives in Queens.' Her mom got really emotional. "My baby.. she said that she was going to her friends house. She's only 18 years old.' Comforting her, I asked her various questions. After she gave me as much information as she could, she went to be with her daughter. Finn and Kat came walking through and they sat with me. "She is distraught, but at least we've caught the guy.' We had to question him next. "Let's just stay for her results and then we'll head back to the station.'

It was a long night....
