(Evie's P.O.V)

I was relaxing whilst looking at some make up styles.. I found some simple, classic looks.. they all looked pretty good so far. Hearing my phone, I saw a text alert. It was from Brent! I'd not spoken to him in ages.

Hey Evie,
How are you?

Texting Faye, I continued to look at make up looks. Heading into the kitchen, I made myself a drink. After doing that, I saw Faye's reply.

OMG! I knew that he would do this. He so likes you and you like him!!x

Blushing a little bit, I sipped my tea. Noting down some things, I texted him back.

Hey Brent,

I'm really good thankyou. I haven't heard from you in ages. How are things?

Writing down some more ideas, I giggled. I did really like Brent. I had known him since me, him and Faye were at college together. We are good friends. We just went into different directions. As we texted back and forth, Faye texted me.

How's the chat going?😉😉😉

Texting her back, I looked through more make up stuff.

Writing down a list, I put my stuff away and got ready for a shower. I couldn't wait to help Faye with getting the ladies ready for each wedding. I loved make up. It was just fun to create new looks and put outfits together. Having  a shower, I treated myself to some ice cream and a movie.

Brent then texted again.

Things are really good thanks. I'm still working at the bar. It's pretty fun. I still feel like we need to catch up. When are you free?

Leaving the text, I kept watching the movie.. Clueless was one of my faves. Brent was cute. Faye would tell me to text him back. I really liked him. Getting my phone, I replied back to him.

Ahhh nice. That's awesome. I should come down and see you.😊

What did I just say? Confidence had litreally just washed over me. Cleaning up, I texted Faye.

He replied!

That would actually be lovely.💛

Heading up to my bedroom, I opened my wardrobe up. What could I wear?

I saw a beige colored shirt. I could wear that with a top and some jeans. Getting in the shower, I thought about Brent. I always felt nervous around him. We would laugh together, dance together.. chat. We even kissed on one occasion. That was when one of us was a bit tipsy though.. I remember that moment..

Flashback..

(Evie's P.O.V)

"Faye! How's Adam?" As we drank a bit more, she blushed a bit. "He's good thanks. I might see him later." I giggled. "So.. about you and Brent.. what's going on?" I said that we were both confused. 'We keep dancing around our feelings.' He then came walking over! 'Oh my gosh!' As he smiled at me, he gave us two cocktails. 'I know that the strawberry one is your favorite.' God, his eyes were so cute! 'See.. he even knows what  your favorite cocktail is!'  Faye squealed. After having some cocktails, we danced the night away!

End of flashback...

After getting dressed, I texted him. 

Hey. Where would you like me to meet you?

Getting in my car, I waited for him to reply. I really liked him. But, he was quite shy. As my phone pinged, I smiled. 

Could you meet me at the Blue Bottle Cafe please?
