I was getting Harper ready for her check up. 5 months had gone so quick. She was just growing up so quickly! She has definitely got my eyes. She's just so cute. "Yeah.. we are going to see how you're doing baby girl." Once she was dressed, I went downstairs to place her on her little play mat. She loved all the noises that it made. "There we go." Going to make myself some coffee, I heard the door. 'Hey you two." Finn walked in. He had been out this morning. As he walked towards me, he kissed me lightly. "Morning handsome." He put the carrier bag down on the table.
"Morning beautiful." I loved it when he called me that!🥰

"I've just got a few groceries to keep us going." As I finished my coffee, Harper squealed. 'Hey baby girl." He went to play with her. "Did you miss me?' Smelling my dressing gown, I grimaced. "Ew. I smell like sick." Finn laughed. "Oh.. I remember. You were burping her and she threw up." I laughed. "Yes.. because I missed you too." As she continued to babble, I said that I was going to have a shower. Heading upstairs, I went to get a towel. I was going to text my brother.
Putting the shower on, I put some skincare gel on. My skin hasn't been great lately and I just needed some me time. Letting the water run all over my body, I checked my scar. I think it was healing. Our baby is just too cute. The girls adore her. They all want Auntie time! Moisturizing my skin with the shower gel, I heard Finn making noises. He'd do anything to entertain our little girl. He was just so good. After finishing up, I dried my hair. My phone then rang. It was Mom. "Morning sweetheart. How are you?"
"I'm alright thanks. I actually have a check up with Harper this morning." Mom said that was good. "I'm missing her." My mom was so sweet. "We can come and see you tomorrow if you like?" She said that would be great. "Okay. I'll call you tomorrow." She then said that she would get Harper some new bits. "You don't have to Mom." She giggled.
"Isn't it my job to spoil my only granddaughter?" I did agree. "We love you." As she said the same thing, I ended the call. Brushing my hair, I went downstairs. "Baby.. shall I hand you over to Mommy?" She gurgled. "Hey sweetie." Finn then kissed me. "How was your mom?" I said that she was okay. I said that we would see her tomorrow for dinner.'
As I put Harper in her carseat, Finn asked me if I was okay. "Yes. I'm fine." Hugging him, he held on to me. "I love you." He then kissed Harper's forehead. "I'm just going to do some work stuff then I might go for a walk." I told him to enjoy. "Try not to miss your girls too much." He helped me go out to the car. He then faced me.
"I love you Finn." Kissing him, he squeezed my hand. "I love you." As he kissed me back, I giggled.
"See you two later." As I got in, I smiled. "I'm actually driving." I had noticed that I was feeling better within myself. It was progress. Driving out on to the road, I took a deep breath.
