Chapter 27♡

(Nina's P.O.V)

I was sitting up in bed when I got some emails about my new job. It was just some information. I was starting on Monday. My birthday was also coming up. I was going to be 29. I said that I would organise a couple's dinner for me and Simon. He also said that he was going to plan something as well. Hearing my phone, I saw a text from an unknown number.

Hey sis,

How are you? I just wanted to say sorry. Sorry for ditching you. I needed some time away from personal things. Could we talk?

My brother was hurting and I think it was fair to hear him out. Dialling his number, I took a deep breath. "Hey bro." He gasped. "Ahhh. Hey sis. I'm guessing that you recieved my message." I said yes. "Hey Calvin." He asked me how I was doing. "I'm honestly great. Things are fab." He was my foster brother. He didn't have the best start in life. My mom decided to foster when I was a kid. She loved other children so much. So did Dad. Calvin's real parents were too selfish. His mom went through miscarriage after miscarriage and his father started drinking. A few years ago, he was on the run and he was fending for himself.. by buying drugs himself. He used hard drugs. He would become so violent when I was younger..

(Gloria's P.O.V)

"Calvin.. sweetheart. Open the door." Calvin had been out since 6pm. It was now 11pm. "No Mom. Just leave me alone." He was really struggling. "Tell me what's wrong. Did something happen today?" He huffed.

As he opened his bedroom door, he sat on his bed. "The kids at school bully me Mom. They call me horrible names. I have no friends. No one loves me." I hugged him. Kissing his forehead, I ressaured him. "Me, Nina and your father love you so much. Your case worker wants to come and do your 6 month review tomorrow." He looked at me. "Will she take me to another home?" I asked him if he liked it at our house. "I really do like it here. You and Clive help me and protect me." Asking him if he had any thoughts running through his mind, he cried a little bit..

"Why can't one thing in my life be normal? I'm sick of not knowing anything!" I calmed him down.. "Shh... shh... me and your dad want to protect you."

Mom and Dad really took to him. He was my brother. Messaging him back, I saw my love standing near our bedroom door. "Hey." Smiling, I looked at him. "Hey my love." As he walked towards me, he kissed me. "Axel enjoyed the first three episodes. I enjoyed them as well." He then asked me if I enjoyed my show. "Oh yes." As he cuddled me, I giggled. 'I love you." Saying that I loved him too, he suggested that we do some more wedding planning tomorrow. 'We should. Pheobe hasn't updated us about her little girl yet. I think she's a couple of days overdue.' Simon then said that must be hell for her. 'I can't imagine how Finn must be feeling.' Cuddling him, we spoke about Ax. 'He's such an awesome, kind, caring person. I just hope that he will be okay.' Simon told me that he was going to be fine. 'If he does start to behave differently, we will talk to him.' 

(Olivia's P.O.V)

After so many years, my partner still knew how to woo me. We were out for dinner and we were talking about the wedding. 'Well, I have the best men sorted. I was thinking about the trip away with everyone. Where were we thinking of again?' I said Palm Springs. 'Ooo.. that sounds lovely.' As the waiter served us food, I marvelled at how gorgeous  it looked. 'Yep, so I'm thinking of taking Caleb to see Dr Lindstrom. 'It will be good for him to possibly open up to someone who he doesn't know." Elliot agreed. "How is OC?" He said it was going well. "The team is great. The case is difficult though." I sympathized with him. "I'm sure you'll keep making progress." We then spoke about Ariel. "She's brilliant. I'm really proud of her. She admitted that she's struggling at night time. She finds it hard to sleep. A couple of weeks ago, I had to stay in her bedroom with her and help her stay calm. She was communicating with me about certain things. She's getting on with art club too which is great." Elliot then said that he was in the process of organizing a bonding trip. "I'm thinking about taking her to a bed and breakfast or something and then planning some art based activities for us."
