Back in the car, I gently brushed a strand of wet hair from Elena's face. The rain had slowed to a drizzle, and the streetlights blurred through the misty windows. The adrenaline from our passionate encounter had left Elena exhausted. I drove us home, unable to fight the urge to hold her tightly to me. Elena had drifted off, lulled by the rhythmic sound of the rain and the steady hum of the engine.
When we arrived home, I parked the car and turned to look at her, a tender smile playing on my lips. I gently brushed a stray lock of hair from her face, my touch light and careful not to wake her. Carefully, I got out of the car, walked around to her side, and opened the door. Without waking her, I slipped my arms beneath her and lifted her out of the car. She stirred slightly, murmuring my name, but quickly settled back into sleep against my chest. I carried her inside, moving with the ease and strength I had come to admire in myself.
Once inside, I took her upstairs to the bedroom. I laid her down on the bed, taking a moment to look at her, a soft expression of affection on my face. Gently, I started to unbutton her dress, removing it with care not to wake her up. I covered her with a warm blanket and tucked it around her securely. "Rest, TESORO," I whispered, my breath warm against her ear. "You need to sleep."
She murmured something inaudible, her lips barely moving.
I changed my clothes, took a shower, and stepped into bed with Elena. I took one of my shirts and made her wear it slowly and carefully, taking great care not to wake her up. I wasn't okay with her lying like that-it would embarrass her in the morning. Once she was comfortably dressed, I slipped under the covers with her, hugging her securely. The warmth and comfort of her embrace made me instinctively relax. She snuggled closer, her head resting against my chest. I could hear the steady beat of her heart, a soothing sound that eased me further.
As she drifted off completely, I felt my lips brush against her forehead in a tender kiss. "Good night, my love," I whispered, my voice low and filled with emotion. "Sleep well." I held her tightly, kissed her forehead from time to time, and finally drifted off to sleep, feeling completely at peace.
I woke up to the soft light of dawn filtering through the curtains. Elena was still asleep, her face peaceful and serene. Her body was nestled against mine, her warmth radiating against my chest. I gently brushed a kiss on her forehead, careful not to disturb her slumber. I couldn't help but marvel at how perfect this moment felt, holding her close and seeing her so relaxed. This was what I wanted-a morning like this, with her wrapped in my arms. I could stay here like this forever.
A strand of her hair had fallen across her face, gently disturbing her sleep. I carefully pushed it behind her ear, trying not to wake her. She stirred slightly, and as her eyes fluttered open and met mine, she gave me a sleepy smile.
"Good morning, beautiful," I murmured softly, brushing my fingers through her hair.
In response, she leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to my lips. It was a tender peck. The warmth of the moment was palpable, but neither of us spoke of deeper feelings. I sensed her uncertainty, a slight hesitation in her touch, as if she was unsure whether this was more than just a fleeting connection.
