I woke up feeling incredibly warm, like I was wrapped in a blanket of heat and comfort. Slowly, my eyes fluttered open, and I blinked a few times, trying to adjust to the soft morning light filtering through the curtains. It took me a second to realize where I was—and then it hit me. I was in Enzo’s bed, my body pressed tightly against his. His strong arms were wrapped around me, holding me close like I belonged there.

Panic surged through me. My dress was gone. I was half-naked under the sheets, and the details of last night were a blur. I could remember fragments: dancing, laughing, his kisses, the way he looked at me. But after that? Nothing. What did I do? I tried to piece it together, but my mind was blank.

I shifted slightly, trying to ease out of his arms without waking him up. Maybe I could slip out, figure everything out, and then return before he noticed. But before I could even move an inch, Enzo’s grip tightened around me, pulling me back against his chest.

"Where are you going, baby?" His voice was deep and rough with sleep, and the sound of it made my heart race.

"Enzo... you're awake," I stammered, unsure of what to say. "I was just going back to my room. Sophie must be there, wondering where I am."

"Leave her," he murmured, his lips brushing against my forehead as he spoke. "She knows you're with me." Then, as if it were the most natural thing in the world, he leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to my lips. My breath hitched. His kisses always made my head spin.

"You feeling okay?" he asked, his voice a little more awake now, his eyes scanning my face.

I nodded, trying to keep my voice steady. "Yeah, just a little headache. I guess I drank too much last night." I tried to sound casual, but inside, I was panicking. What had I done? Why couldn’t I remember?

Enzo's lips curled into a smirk, one that made my stomach flip. "Yeah, you drank way too much. So much that you probably don’t remember what you did."

My face burned with embarrassment. I looked away from him, feeling a rush of dread. "What... what did I do?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. God, I didn’t trust myself when I was tipsy.

He chuckled softly, his smirk widening. "Nothing… leave it." His fingers brushed against my cheek as he pulled me closer, his lips grazing mine. "For now."

Before I could protest or ask him anything else, his lips were on mine again, silencing all the questions swirling in my head. The kiss was slow but deep, and for a moment, I forgot everything else. I forgot the confusion, the embarrassment, the headache. All that mattered was him and the way he made me feel like I was the only thing that existed in the world.

But as his arms tightened around me and the kiss deepened, one thought lingered at the back of my mind: what happened last night? And why did it feel like there was something Enzo wasn’t telling me?

As Enzo kissed me, lost in the moment, the door suddenly creaked open. Before I could react, a voice broke the silence.

“You should lock the door next time, Enzo dear,” a calm but amused voice said. My eyes flew open in shock, but my lips were still locked with Enzo’s. I was too stunned to move.
