This aspect begins in the peaceful foyers of Kimbolton Castle, where the first glow of dawn peeked through the windows. While most of the Callis Family lay asleep, two were awake and shifting about the castle: Savanna and her Mother.

As daylight spewed through the window, Savanna lay in bed, gazing up at the awning as the Ladies bustled around her room. She yearned to speak to her Mother, hoping she was in a better mood than she had been three days ago.

Then again, she witnessed first-hand how fierce her Mother could be when she was furious, especially when it involved their well-being. It was like observing a bear fiercely safeguarding her cubs.

"Princess Savanna, are you awake?"

Savanna's gaze seized when she saw Lady Stafford at the foot of her bed. Her streaming golden locks glinted like a river of gold, and her luminous smile, illuminated with shining pearls, expressed an authentic warmness.

"Yes, Elizabeth?"

Elizabeth's smile grew sad, lacing her fingers together sheepishly. "Your Mother wishes to speak with you, Princess. She's outside with your sister waiting for your permission to be allowed entry."

"Is she still upset?"

Elizabeth shook her head, a gentle smile playing on her lips. "No, she isn't upset. She merely wants to have a calm conversation with you, no shouting, I promise."

Savanna dismissively waved her hand, burying her head inside the pillows. "Let her in, Elizabeth. As long as she keeps her voice down," she muttered, "Then I'll speak to her."

"Very well, I'll inform her now."

Beside the door, Émilie stood silently, clutching Camille's hand as they anxiously waited for Elizabeth to open the door and allow them inside, granted that Savanna permitted it.

"Mama? Will sissy still be mad and hit me again?"

Émilie glanced at her daughter and gently squeezed her hand. "No, Cami-bear. Anna won't hit you again. She's learned her lesson last time. But remember, you must respect her boundaries so this doesn't happen again."

"Ok, Mama."

Émilie smiled fondly before the door opened, and Elizabeth poked her head out. "Your Majesty?"

"Yes, Elizabeth? Has Savanna permitted us to enter? Oh dear Lord, these last three days of giving each other the cold shoulder have been torture!"

Elizabeth gave a nod. "She says you may enter, but she wishes to make sure there won't be any arguments if she allows you into her room," she said firmly and seriously.
