Serenity's Perspective
"Come on... Please, let Mary and our child be safe." I paced back and forth in front of Mary's chambers, her agonising screams echoing in my ears. I prayed to God, desperately hoping they'd both be alright.

Her screams reminded me of Mama when she was in labour with Savanna. The long hours of pain she went through to bring my little sister into this world and now it's my Fiance's turn to do the same with our child.

The screams lasted for a few more minutes until eventually, they stopped. Oh no! That can't be good! Screams suddenly stopping can never be a good sign!

"Madam?"

Glancing up, I saw Mary's midwife, Regina exit her chambers, her faint maroon brown dress stained with the pure crimson stains of blood.

"Madam, you do not need to worry," Regina assured me, smiling tenderly. "But congratulations!"

"C-Congratulations?"

"Yes! On this day, June 19th 1540 at Edinburgh Castle, weighing 9 pounds 5 oz, measuring 130 CM and after a full night of labour, Her Majesty, Princess Mary Of Scots, officially gave birth to a baby boy."

"Princess Serenity! Welcome home!"

"Thank you, Sir Ross. Is Mama, Mum and Mother in there?" I asked, nestling my sleeping five-day-old infant closely in my arms.

"Yes! They're in there, Your Highness. Shall I let them know of your arrival?"

"Of course, Sir Ross." I smiled, kissing my baby's forehead. "You ready to meet your Granny, Grammy and Grandma? Yes, you are! Yes, you are~"
