England👑
Four months passed since the death of Prince Anthony Charles Tudor, who was later buried at Westminster Abbey on February 9th, next to his half-brother, Henry, Duke Of Cornwall, son of Henry VIII and the Late Catherine Of Aragon.
Henry, keeping his promise, refrained from returning to Anne's bed. Instead, spending those four months with his Mistress, Lady Jane Seymour. Little did Anne know, that Jane would soon supersede her as the next Queen of England once Anne and her family were out of the picture.
"You know you didn't have to stay and could've been home by now, Émmie," Anne said, though she wouldn't have minded, she was thankful Émilie decided to extend her stay in England. For her.
"Well, I would've been home two months ago, but it was only because of Savanna I took pity and let my Wife know I'd stay in England until I knew you were well."
"That, I'm still grateful for. Thank you."
"Doesn't mean we're friends again though. You're still not forgiving for breaking your promise."
"We'll work on i-"
"Queen Anne!!!" Anne and Émilie were both surprised to see Cromwell, along with 5 other guards, but Anne rose from her seat and slowly approached them.
"Mr Cromwell, what way to enter your Queen's chambers in the middle of a conversation was that?!"
He only smiled kindly, as if trying to mock her. "Queen Anne Boleyn, you are hereby under arrest on charges of adultery, incest, treason and witchcraft. I've come on behalf of His Majesty to formally escort you to the Tower Of London where you'll be publicly executed in 17 days."
"To the Tower Of London?! What in the name of God is this bad joke?!"
Émilie had to admit, she was equally surprised. Anne was to be executed in 17 days? Perhaps she heard wrong. No, she didn't. She knew Cromwell wasn't one to joke around with something as serious as this.
"Your Majesty, there's no point in trying to oppose the King's orders. It will be better for you to accompany us to the carriage, or I will have to do it by force."
"Émilie...Please! Help me! We'll go to Henry together and make him understand-"
"Unfortunately, she won't be able to help you, Queen Anne. For she knows what will happen if she does, don't you, Your Majesty?"
