It was in the late in the evening where Gabby and Ellie were cuddling on the couch while watching shitty romcoms. Gabby laid her head on Ellie's shoulder as Ellie embraced Gabby. Suddenly Gabby heard some coughs coming from Ellie. ''Babe are you okay?'', Gabby asked as she looked at Ellie. ''I think I just have a bad cough'', Ellie said as she coughed once again. ''Okay then'', Gabby said as she embraced Ellie. ''It will be gone by tomorrow, I hope. So you don't have to worry about me'', Ellie said. ''Okay'', Gabby said as snuggled her head onto Ellie's chest. After a while of watching movies they decided to go to bed. When the two walked to their bedroom Ellie kept on coughing. Even if they were in the bathroom Ellie kept on coughing. ''Ellie are you really alright? I'm starting to worry about you because you have been coughing a lot'', Gabby said as she cupped Ellie's cheek. ''I'm fine really Gabs'', Ellie said as she looked into Gabby's eyes. ''Okay let's just get some rest then, maybe you'll feel better in the morning'', Gabby said as she kissed Ellie's forehead. The two then quickly headed to bed. The two cuddled as Ellie said, ''Goodnight Gabs''. ''Goodnight sweetie'', Gabby said as the two drifted asleep while embracing each other.
In the morning Gabby woke up, but Ellie wasn't in bed with her. Gabby immediately panicked and stood up and shouted, ''Ellie babe, where are you?''. Gabby heard nothing,, it was completely silent. But suddenly there were sounds of vomiting coming from the bathroom. Gabby quickly ran over and saw Ellie vomiting into the toilet. ''There you are'', Gabby said as she came closer to Ellie to hold her hair up. In between vomiting Ellie said, ''Thanks Gabs''. ''I guess you're not going to work today'', Gabby said. In mind Gabby was happy that Ellie got to stay home and Gabby could take care of her the whole day. ''While you clean yourself up I will message your boss that you're sick, okay?'', Gabby said as she lowered Ellie's hair as she was done vomiting. ''Okay Gabs. Thank you so much'', Ellie said as she stood up. Gabby went out of the bathroom to find Ellie's phone and when she found it she texted Ellie's boss that Ellie was sick.
After some time Ellie had showered and walked into the living room to see that Gabby was making breakfast. ''You're making breakfast?'', Ellie said as she approached Gabby. ''Yep, you're sick so I'll make you breakfast'', Gabby said. ''That's so sweet of you'', Ellie said as she stood behind Gabby and embraced her. ''Go sit on the couch I'll bring you breakfast and a warm blanket'', Gabby said. ''Alright then'', Ellie said as she quickly kissed Gabby's cheek and went over to the couch. After some time Gabby went over to the couch where Ellie sat. ''Here sweetheart'', Gabby said as she gave the blanket and food. ''Thanks Gabs'', Ellie said. Gabby sat down next to Ellie and Ellie covered herself and Gabby underneath the blanket. After some time Ellie finished her food and Gabby stood up and said, ''Now that you're finished I'm going to take your temperature''. Gabby went to the bathroom to find the fever thermometer. Ellie was just sitting on the couch while Gabby was searching in the bathroom. Ellie grabbed the remote and zapped thru channels to find something to watch. After aggressively searching the bathroom Gabby finally found the thermometer.
Gabby came back into the living room and said, ''I found it!!''. Gabby approached Ellie and used the thermometer. ''You definitely have a fever, you should rest'', Gabby said as she grabbed the remote out of Ellie's hands. ''I was watching something'', Ellie said as she tried to steal the remote back. ''You should take a rest Ellie'', Gabby said as she tried to keep Ellie away from the remote. ''But can't I watch TV while resting?'', Ellie said while trying to use Gabby's famous puppy dog eyes. It didn't work. ''Ellie Parker, you're now going to bed and rest'', Gabby said demandingly. ''Okay'', Ellie said in defeat. Gabby directed Ellie to their bedroom and made sure Ellie was comfortable. Gabby tucked Ellie into bed and gave a kiss on Ellie's forehead. ''Make sure to get a good rest'', Gabby said. ''I will Gabs. And thank you'', Ellie said. ''No problem Ellie, I would like to do this every time you're sick'', Gabby said. ''Wait there is something missing'', Gabby said as she grinned. ''What is missing Gabs?'', Ellie said in confusion. ''What missing is.. Mr. Whiskers!!'', Gabby said in excitement as she grabbed the stuffed bunny. ''Is my carrot sick again? Don't worry I am here'', Gabby imitated Mr. Whisker's voice. ''Of course'', Ellie said as she smiled at Gabby. Gabby gave Ellie the stuffed bunny and kissed Ellie's cheek. ''I'm going to the living room now, get a good rest hon'', Gabby said as she walked out of the bedroom.
Gabby sat down on the couch and it was finally her time to watch TV. Gabby liked to watch animal documentaries and sometimes other stuff with Ellie. After some time Ellie suddenly came out of the bedroom holding Mr. Whiskers and said, ''I threw up again Gabs''. ''Oh, let me help you with cleaning up'', Gabby said as she stood up. ''Don't worry, I did it into the toilet again so there would be no cleaning needed'', Ellie said. ''Okay, I'm glad that I don't have to clean up'', Gabby said. ''Where you watching TV behind my back!?'', Ellie said. ''Maybe. But you still need rest'', Gabby said as she hid the remote behind her back. ''Can I please watch TV with you, please?'', Ellie said. ''You still need to rest Ellie'', Gabby said. ''But after the last throwing up session I felt a bit better'', Ellie said now trying to use the puppy dog eyes again. ''Okay then, if I can take your temperature again'', Gabby said as she grabbed the thermometer. ''Your fever has gone down, that's a good sign Ellie'', Gabby said happily. ''So can I watch TV with you?'', Ellie asked politely. ''Okay-okay, fine you can watch TV with me'', Gabby said in defeat.
Ellie immediately sat down with Gabby onto the couch while grabbing a blanket to cover themselves. They both settled on one movie and began watching it. While watching the movie Ellie said, ''I'm grateful that you helped me all day''. ''It's nothing Ellie, really'', Gabby said as she blushed a bit. ''No I'm serious, I'm grateful that I have such a caring girlfriend'', Ellie said happily. ''Stop it please with the compliments, I'm getting flustered'', Gabby said. ''I will never stop giving you compliments Gabs'', Ellie said with a smirk. ''Okay that's it!'', Gabby said playfully as she kissed Ellie on the lips. Ellie broke the kiss within a minute and said, ''Gabby I don't think that kissing sick people is good idea''. ''Fuck, I don't want to be sick right now'', Gabby said. ''Then I'll have to take care of you'', Ellie said as she snickered. ''Let's just don't kiss until you're better'', Gabby said. ''Okay Gabs, but let's enjoy the movie'', Ellie said as she kissed Gabby's cheek and the two presumed watching the movie.
