Chapter 22: Double date (ft. Jam)

Gabby woke up and looked tiredly around the room. After some time looking Gabby looked at Ellie, Ellie slept so cute beside Gabby. Gabby still thinks about how lucky Gabby was to have Ellie. Gabby stroked Ellie's hair while she was sleeping, but in secret Ellie did enjoy it. After a sudden beep Gabby stopped stroking Ellie's hair and grabbed her phone. It was Tom who was texting Gabby this early in the morning. -Hey Gabs, I thought we could hang out again since we haven't seen each other since last week. This time I'll bring Jake with me-, Tom texted Gabby. -Hey, that is a great idea. I'll bring Ellie with me then :P. What if we had a double date then?- Gabby replied. -Sure Gabs, can we go to a café then?- Tom texted. -That sounds fun- Gabby replied. -So that is settled see you guys around 1 AM- Tom texted. -Okay see you then :)- Gabby replied and closed her phone.

Meanwhile when Gabby was texting Tom Ellie woke up. ''Why did you stop stroking my hair?'', Ellie asked as she clung onto Gabby. ''Sorry, I was texting Tom'', Gabby said as she kissed Ellie's forehead. ''Okay, what did he text you?'', Ellie said. ''Oh, about hanging out and stuff'', Gabby said. ''Oh okay'', Ellie said. ''Do you want to come with me? I sort of said we would have a double date'', Gabby said nervously because she knows about Jake and Ellie's history in season 1. ''I don't know Gabs, Jake is there and we might not get along well during this double date'', Ellie said. ''Then maybe you can give Jake another chance, to like make up about what happened in season 1'', Gabby said happily. ''Okay fine I'll come with you'', Ellie said. ''YAY!!!'', Gabby shouted in excitement as she hugged Ellie very tightly. ''Okay, okay Gabs you can now let me go'', Ellie said as she patted Gabby's head. Gabby slowly let go of Ellie and once she was just sitting on her bed she leaned in and gave Ellie a kiss on the cheek. ''Let's get ready then'', Gabby said as she stood up from the bed.

Ellie just laid back down and groaned. ''Come on Ellie a double date isn't that bad'', Gabby said as she grabbed Ellie's arm and dragged her to stand beside Gabby. ''I'm going to go shower then. I've got to smell nice for this double date'', Ellie said. ''Ooh, ooh! Let me please join you! Please?'', Gabby said making Ellie blush in an instant. Gabby and Ellie showered often together, but sometimes if Ellie had to go early they didn't. Every time Gabby asks to shower together Ellie blushes, Ellie did not know why. ''You can join me Gabs'', Ellie said as Ellie made her way to the bathroom and Gabby followed her. After showering the two stood in front of the mirror, Ellie was brushing her teeth and Gabby was playing with the water in the sink. ''Are you going to wash your face or just play with the water?'', Ellie asked. ''I forgot that I was going to wash my face, oops'', Gabby said awkwardly as she began washing her face. After some time the two were now clean and dressed.

''What do you want for breakfast Gabs?'', Ellie said. ''Maybe some toast'', Gabby replied. ''Coming right up ma'am'', Ellie said jokingly as she puts 2 bread slices into the toaster. ''What's with the ma'am part?'', Gabby said. ''It was a joke Gabs, don't worry'', Ellie said. ''Okay, ma'am'', Gabby said as she snickered. Ellie also laughed a bit when Gabby returned the joke. After a few seconds the toast plopped out of the toaster and Ellie grabbed two plates and put the pieces of bread on the plates. Ellie then reached into the cupboards for jam and smears it onto the toast. ''Here Gabs'', Ellie said as she handed one plate to Gabby. ''Thanks love'', Gabby said as she began eating the toast. The two then had a good enjoyable breakfast. After some time the two were done with breakfast but it wasn't 1 AM yet, so they decided to do something in their spare time. They made out for at least 10 minutes, the whole spare time.

After that they decided to leave and meet up in the café. The two walked towards the café holding hands when they suddenly saw Tom and Jake also arriving at the same time. Tom waved in the distance and Gabby waved back. When the two pairs got closer Ellie could hear an huge groan coming from Jake. ''Hey Gabs! hey Ellie'', Tom greeted the two. ''Hey Tommie!! And also hello Jake!'', Gabby said happily. ''Hey I guess'', Ellie said. Tom nudged Jake and then he said, ''Hey also I guess''. Ellie immediately rolled her eyes at Jake. ''Come on guys, you're reacting as siblings'', Tom said. ''Siblings? We don't even look the same'', Ellie said in a bit of an angry tone. ''But you sure act as two siblings'', Gabby said in the defence of Tom. ''Thanks Gabs, let's get inside before Jake gets hangry'', Tom said as he snickered. ''For your information I don't get hangry'', Jake concluded. ''But your boyfriend said so, so I believe him more than you'', Ellie said. ''Okay that's enough! Let's get inside!'', Gabby said a bit angrily. Ellie and Jake were immediately silent.

The four walked inside of the café, it wasn't really that busy inside. So Tom found a nice table where you could view the outside from. A waiter came around the table and asked, ''What would you all like to order?''. ''For me just a coffee and a donut'', Tom said. ''I'll also take a coffee'', Jake said. ''I'll take some tea please'', Gabby said. ''What kind of tea would you like?'', the waiter asked. ''Uh, I'll take just some mint tea please'', Gabby replied. ''I would like a coffee, black, please'', Ellie said. ''Okay, that's it?'', the waiter said. ''Yes'', Tom said as the waiter then walked over to another table. ''So how's your cat Tom?'', Gabby asked. ''Gabs is doing okay, I cuddle and play with him every day'', Tom said. ''Great, make sure to give him an extra big hug today!!'', Gabby said. While Gabby and Tom were talking with each other Ellie and Jake just sat there crossing their arms and looking annoyed at each other.

After some time their order finally arrived and the four and the four began chatting and drinking their beverages. It's the first time that Gabby saw Ellie and Jake actually getting along for once in a while. Gabby was sure proud of Ellie. Ellie thought this 'double date' was going to be boring, but actually it turned out it was quite fun. After some chatting and finishing their drinks they decided to go the other directions. ''Today was fun Gabs'', Tom said. ''It actually was fun'', Jake said. ''We should do this more often!!'', Gabby said in excitement. ''That's a good idea Gabs'', Ellie said happily. ''Yeah we should'', Tom said. ''Let's get going before it gets dark'', Jake said as he grabbed Tom's hand. ''Yeah, see you guys again maybe'', Tom said. ''Yeah!!, bye guys'', Gabby said as she waved Tom and Jake goodbye. After waving goodbye to Tom and Jake Gabby looked over to Ellie with a big smile and said, ''You had fun today and you actually got along with Jake once''. ''I guess I did have fun'', Ellie said. ''I'm proud of you'', Gabby said as she gave Ellie a kiss on her forehead.

Ep 17 was something, I'm legit still crying inside tbh. The final 4 is something (I don't even know who to root for in this moment)

Requests are apreciated and needed, I'm lacking motivation and mostly for these one-shots I don't know where to begin or what I should begin with. So I'm a bit struggeling to find ideas to write, so requests can help me a lot actually.

While I was doing something I thought of maybe writing a QnA. Should I do it? I can then use questions in the comment and let Ellie and Gabby react and answer them :P
