It didn't take long until everything in Gabby's life broke. Everything was great she met the love of her life, but she caused everything to happen in the accident. Why couldn't Gabby just get injured instead of Ellie? At least Gabby thought that. It's been almost a month after the accident, Ellie has been improving. Her condition was now better then a few weeks ago. Or at least that was what Gabby heard. Gabby hasn't visited Ellie in weeks, because she felt so guilty about what happened. Gabby felt like a monster. She was the one who killed Ellie's father. She was the one that lost control. She's the one to blame.
It was morning, Gabby was eating at the table with her family. Gabby looked saddened as she barely touched her food. ''Are you alright dear? You seem sad and you barely touched your food'', Gabby's mother said as she was worried for her daughter. ''I'm alright and I'm not that hungry right now'', Gabby said in a sad tone. ''I'm worried about you, ever since a few weeks ago you seem sad or rather a bit depressed. Are you drinking enough blood?'', Gabby's mother said as she looked worried. ''Yes mom, of course. I'm going to my room if you don't mind'', Gabby said as she stood up. ''Okay dear'', Gabby's mother said as Gabby left the table. Gabby immediately ran upstairs and plopped down on her bed. When she reached for her phone she saw a few messages. -Hey Gabs, are you alright? You haven't visited me in weeks. I'm worried about you <3- Ellie had messaged her early this morning. Gabby closed her phone in guilt. Gabby had pushed Ellie away again. But in a quick thinking Gabby finally got her head straight and wanted to visit Ellie to expose what happened to her and her father, since Gabby never told her. -Hey, I'm coming today or tomorrow to tell you something...- Gabby texted as she quickly threw her phone away as she was scared how Ellie would react.
In the hospital Ellie was sitting down on her hospital bed as she ate her breakfast that doctors gave her. Until in a sudden her phone glowed and Ellie immediately threw her food back on her plate to grab her phone. Gabby had messaged her that she would come today or tomorrow. Ellie was over joyed at this, she was missing Gabby a lot when she was at the hospital. But Ellie was confused at the 'to tell you something', Ellie felt happy but also a bit scared. It's been a while since the two saw each other, so Ellie was scared that Gabby lost the love they had before the accident. Ellie didn't care what Gabby was vampire or not, Ellie loved her for what was inside of her not for what she was. Ellie was happier than ever, but Gabby was the opposite of that.
After a day of preparing mentally Gabby finally felt like she was ready for something. Gabby was standing in front of the hospital and took a big breath in and out and walked inside. When walking in she went to the reception where a woman was working at. ''Hello can I help you with something?'', the woman asked. ''Yes, I want to visit Ellie Parker. She should be here in this hospital'', Gabby said nervously. ''Of course you can. Take the elevator to the second floor and search for room 45, there she is being hold at'', the woman said with a smile. ''Thank you'', Gabby said as she went to the halls to take the elevator. As she reached the second floor Gabby stepped out of the elevator. She was indeed nervous to see Ellie after almost a month of not seeing her. Gabby walked nervously through the hall until she stood in front of a door with a number plate on it, ''number 45''. Gabby took a deep breath in and opened the door. Inside Ellie was just doing some activity as Gabby opened the door. ''Hey'', Gabby said nervously as she looked at Ellie. ''Gabby, you came'', Ellie said as tears formed in her eyes. ''I did'', Gabby said as she smiled. Ellie immediately got of her bed and stumbled as she walked with a bit of a limp as she headed toward Gabby. Gabby just looked at Ellie as she struggled to walk mostly. Until a warm embrace connected to two after one whole month. Tears flooded Gabby's eyes as she secretly missed Ellie a lot but was scared of guilt.
''How are you doing Ellie, since everything happened...'', Gabby paused as a tear rolled down her cheek. ''Gab-, It is not your fault, I won't blame you for not visiting me'', Ellie said as she tried to comfort Gabby. ''But it is..'', ''I WAS THE ONE WHO LOST CONTROL. I WAS THE ONE THAT KILLED HIM. I AM THE MONSTER HERE'', Gabby cried out as a lot of tears rolled down her cheeks. Ellie stayed silent after that. Ellie just stood there thinking whilst Gabby was sobbing. ''Gabby I-, I'm so sorry for letting you deal with this guilt. I should have texted you earlier, so I could help you with this'', Ellie said. ''B-But your f-father I-'', Gabby said as she began shacking physically. ''My father was long gone Gabby, he wasn't himself that day, he wasn't him his whole life..'', Ellie said as she comforted Gabby again. Gabby finally calmed down as she cried onto Ellie's shoulder. ''I'm glad you're here now with me'', Ellie said as she smiled. ''I really missed you Gabs'', Ellie said. ''Gabs?'', Gabby said as she looked at Ellie. ''Oh, it's just a nickname I thought of when I was at the hospital. If you don't like it I will-'', ''DON'T-, I really like the nickname'', Gabby interrupted Ellie as she sniffled. ''I'm glad you like it'', Ellie said with an huge smile. ''I love it. I missed you too, so much'', Gabby said as she gave Ellie a much needed kiss. It was just like the first time they did it, the magical feeling.
''I have to come clean with something'', Gabby said when she broke the sweet kiss. ''Okay go ahead'', Ellie said as she was still a bit drowsy after the magical feeling. ''I'm a vampire, and maybe we shouldn't be together'', Gabby said as she ripped off the imaginary band-aid. ''Why shouldn't we be together Gabs, being a vampire doesn't make you any different than a human being'', Ellie said. ''But, but'', Gabby stuttered. ''I love you Gabby, I don't care whether you are human or a vampire'', Ellie said as she wanted to say for a long time now. Gabby was flustered, but also didn't know what to say. ''We should be together, maybe this could be a start to a new age where people and vampires lived happily in peace Gabs'', Ellie said with confidence. ''That's actually a beautiful idea'', Gabby said as she gave a wide smile. ''You really think so?'', Ellie said. ''Yeah, I love you Ellie'', Gabby said as the two leaned for a kiss yet again. This one would last for lifetimes now. No accidents. No deaths. Just freedom.

''That's how I met the bravest and loveliest human on this planet'', Gabby said now looking a bit older as she closed the big book in front of her. The kids in front of her were happily listening to the story that Gabby told them. It's been years since Gabby and Ellie met, the two changed the world together so much. Their dream finally came out, the world was in a big peace with each other. No wars. No killing. Just peace. Gabby and Ellie lived together happily and the two worked through their issues together and this ended into a lifetime of a relationship or whether a healthy marriage. Suddenly a kid asked, ''Well, where is she now?''. ''Nico, you know that your mother is making dinner, so cut the act'', Gabby said happily. ''Why are you always asking things?'', a girl asked Nico. ''Because I can, Cleo'', Nico said to annoy his little sister. ''Stop you two, I only told you the story so you two could learn something'', Gabby said as she broke up the fight between her children. Suddenly Ellie entered the room and said, ''Did I miss some good story time? You did it without me Gabs''. ''We were just done reading, I'm sorry but the kids asked me to read it to them and I really wanted to do it with you, but you were busy'', Gabby said as she gave Ellie a kiss on her cheek. ''It's okay, but dinner is ready! So let's get going'', Ellie said as she gently pushed Nico and Cleo to the living room leaving Gabby and herself in the room. ''I love you so much Gabs'', Ellie said as she smiled. ''I love you too, let's go eat. I'm starving'', Gabby said as she pressed a soft kiss against Ellie's lips.
