Chapter 29: Vampire AU

In this magical place where humans and vampires lived together there were two very different people. Vampires weren't that welcomed in this world, people killed them because they thought they were 'dangerous' to humankind. But Gabrisya Nowak otherwise known as Gabby Nowak was different, although she is a vampire she isn't dangerous at all. She had made an oath to never hurt humans or animals, since she loved animals and she thought humans didn't deserve to die. In the same world lived the introverted but kind and ordinary girl named Ellie Parker. She was a hard-working person. Her family was famous to be vampire slayers, her father was a popular vampire slayer. He wasn't against vampires when he was young, but ever since a vampire killed his wife things have been different for the Parker family. Ellie wasn't like her father, sure she was hopeless and lost when her mom was killed but it didn't her impact on vampires, she always thought they killed her mother to survive themselves. But she had to learn the family traditions.

It was a very ordinary day, Gabby was at home. Gabby went downstairs to see her family, ''Hello all!''. ''Sit down I made some food for us'', Gabby's mother said as she pointed at an empty chair. ''What did you make?'', Gabby asked as she sits down on the chair. ''Good food for you. Mostly animal blood, so you don't die'', Gabby's mother said as she gave Gabby a plate filled with animalistic meat with a lot of red substance. Gabby felt disgusted as she almost gagged whilst looking at her food. ''Are you just going to look at your food?'', Gabby's mother said as she looked at her daughter. ''No'', Gabby said as she began eating. Whilst she was eating she could only feel nauseous and also she was on the verge of tears. After some time of force feeding herself Gabby was done with the food. ''I'm going to my room now'', Gabby said as she looked down and stood up. When she stood up she moved the chair towards the table and went upstairs to her room. When she entered her room she immediately broke down crying. She was angry why she had to be like this and in this anger she reached inside her throat and touched her uvula what made her throw up on the ground. After a while Gabby finally calmed down and cleaned herself up by taking a shower and cleaning the ground.

Ellie was working hard today. Her multiple jobs made her day quite busy , but when it was finally done it was all worth it. She wanted to earn money so she could move out of her family's house, since she was a bit terrified of her father and his vampire killing obsession. Ellie came home after a long day of work and when she entered the home she saw her father at home. ''Hey dad, I'm home'', Ellie said awkwardly. ''Welcome home sweetheart, how was your day?'', Ellie's father said as he was sitting on the couch. ''My day was fine'', Ellie said as she puts down her stuff. ''When I was your age I wasn't working my butt off, what made you work in the first place?'', Ellie's father questioned. ''I just need money for stuff'', Ellie said as she was about to leave the living room. ''Why won't you join the vampire slayers?'', Ellie's father said in a quite angry tone. ''I'm not interested in participating to kill people'', Ellie said as she squeezed in the middle of her eyebrows. ''Vampires aren't people. They're monsters!'', Ellie's father said aggressively. Ellie didn't say anything back. ''Don't you want to avenge your mother?'', Ellie's father said. Ellie stayed silent not knowing what to say. ''You're a disappointment, you know'', Ellie's father said as he stood up from the couch and stood in front of Ellie. Ellie stood there still not moving an inch and not saying something. ''Say something woman!!'', Ellie's father yelled. Warm tears flowed onto Ellie's cheeks, she didn't allow herself to speak up for herself so she stood there crying and not doing anything. The next parts were a bit fuzzy, but Ellie remembered a loud noise in her head while her cheek was warm and red as if it was bruised.

Ellie's father wasn't all this aggressive when 'the accident' didn't happen. Ellie's life was perfect until 'the accident', the family was happy, but know it's broken just like her. The girl couldn't do anything, her father was happy and then broken. Just like her family. Just like all of the times the bruises appeared. Just like the ordinary girl.
