After season 1 Gabby decided to go back to Poland where her parents lived, creating a long distance between the two lovers. Ellie went on with her normal life, working hard every day. The two often had skype 'dates' and Ellie even went to Poland to visit her. Ellie and Gabby both worked hard to maintain this long distance relationship. Gabby wanted to change this long distance relationship, she wanted to support Ellie and spend some actual time with her.
Ellie came home late at night, because she had to work night shifts today. But this worked to her favour because of the time difference between Poland and New York. For Ellie it was late at night, but for Gabby it was almost morning. Ellie grabbed her phone and called Gabby. After a few beeps Gabby finally picked up. ''Good morning Gabs'', Ellie said happily. ''Fuck it's too early'', a sleepy Gabby said. ''I didn't invent the time difference'', Ellie said. ''I know, I know'', Gabby said as she yawned. ''So how is it on the other half of the world?'', Ellie asked. ''Good, what about you? How was your day at work?'', Gabby said now less tired than before. ''I'm also good and my day was like normal'', Ellie said. ''I'm happy to hear that'', Gabby said. ''I miss you Gabs'', Ellie said. ''I miss you too'', Gabby said as she paused for a bit. ''I have thought a lot about changing this long distance with you'', Gabby said. ''Do you mean moving in with each other?'', Ellie said. ''Yeah, I don't want the long distance to break us up'', Gabby said genuinely. ''Do you want me to come to Poland then?'', Ellie said. ''I'm going to make the big decision to move in with you Ellie'', Gabby said. ''Wow that's-'', Ellie was stunned. ''Awesome''. ''I'm glad you're okay with this'', Gabby said. ''So when are you coming?'', Ellie asked happily. ''I think I need a few weeks to pack and get ready, so I honestly don't know'', Gabby said. ''That's alright, I then have more time to prepare'', Ellie said. ''That's settled then. Goodnight babe'', Gabby said. ''Yeah, have a nice day'', Ellie said as the two hung up. Ellie went to sleep, but Gabby woke up to start the morning.
Gabby stood up from her bed being greeted by many animals that lived in her house. Gabby was happy because she is going to live with Ellie, but she did feel sad because she had to leave her animals here. Gabby left her room as soon as she petted all of her pets. She walked downstairs to see her whole family having breakfast. (note. Every time Gabby only to her family, and her family talks in polish, but I'll make the dialogue English). ''Good morning'', Gabby said happily. ''Come eat dear, you are already late'', Gabby's mother said. ''Yes mom'', Gabby said reluctantly as she sat down at the table. Her sister and little brother were also seated at the table. ''I would like to say something'', Gabby said trying to grab all the attention. ''You can say anything sweetheart'', Gabby's mother replied happily. ''Sadly I decided that I wanted to move out and live on my own without you'' Gabby announced. ''What!?!'', Gabby's mother said in disbelief. ''Where are you going to live then Gabrysia? You have no job and not enough money to live on your own'', Gabby's father said. ''I'm moving in with my girlfriend in New York. My girlfriend can provide for us until I get a real job'', Gabby said.
''No you can't go sis'', Gabby's little brother said as he ran over to Gabby. ''I'm sorry Isaac. I would have to go eventually. You can do it without me, right?'', Gabby said as her little brother immediately hugged her. ''When are you moving in with your girlfriend?'', Gabby's mother asked. ''In a few weeks. I need to do some stuff before I go'', Gabby replied. Gabby's sister then stood up and walked up and said, ''I'm going to miss you sis''. ''I'm going to miss you too. I'm going to miss you all'', Gabby said as she had tears forming in her eyes. ''We will all help you with packing'', Gabby's mother said. ''Thank you'', Gabby said.
In the next couple of days Gabby did a lot of packing. Meanwhile Ellie was working every day. After 2 weeks Gabby finished everything she wanted to before she would go to New York. Gabby thought that she packed everything very fast and actually thought it was going to be a lot longer, but it wasn't. Gabby and her family all went to the airport to wave Gabby goodbye. The family all walked into the entrance of the airport and Gabby said, ''I guess this is the last time I'm going to see you, but I will visit sometimes. I promise''. ''My baby is already grown up so much'', Gabby's mother said as she began to cry. ''It's okay mom'', Gabby said as she hugged her crying mother. ''You promise to keep in touch with us?'', Gabby's little brother said. ''Always Isaac'', Gabby said as her little brother also joined the hug. ''Is everyone going to hug?'', Gabby's sister said. ''Come here Freya'', Gabby said as her sister also joined. Gabby's father just stood still not interacting with the family. ''My plane is almost going so I need to go. I'm going to miss you all'', Gabby said as she waved goodbye to her family.
Gabby got true all of the security and was finally seated at her destined port. She grabbed her phone and texted Ellie, -I'm at the gate now, just waiting for the plane to arrive. -Good, text me if you have landed so I know when to pick you up at the airport- Ellie replied. -I will- Gabby replied. After some time Gabby boarded the plane and was in her seat. Gabby only slept in the plane for a lot of the time. After 9 hours Gabby finally landed in New York. New York was a pretty city when it was dark. All the lights created a beautiful vibe. The first thing Gabby did when she landed is grab her phone and texting Ellie. -I just landed, I do need to wait for my luggage so that's going to be a couple of hours. -Okay, I'll grab my car now so I will be there in 30 min- Ellie replied. Gabby got out of the plane and walked over to the luggage hall to wait for her luggage. After some time Gabby finally had all of her luggage and was ready to see Ellie after 2 months.
After some walking Gabby approached the departure room and saw a red haired girl waving to her, Ellie. Gabby ran almost tripping, but ran as fast as she could to reach her lover. As Gabby got closer to Ellie she immediately gave Ellie the biggest and warmest hug ever. The two then looked into each other's eyes, Ellie was almost crying of happiness and Gabby just had the biggest smile. The two then kissed on the spot, their lips connected in the most awaited way. The two missed doing this. Ellie broke the kiss and said, ''Let's go home it's getting pretty late now''. ''Yeah'', Gabby said as the two left the airport. Ellie started her car and they drove off to Gabby's new home with Ellie. After some time and many conversations they finally arrived at the apartment building. As soon as the two walked into the apartment Ellie said, ''Welcome to the apartment and your new home''. ''It looks very nice'', Gabby said.
The two then just took the time to reconcile and talk about how they have been doing. ''Let's get some rest Gabs and we will unpack tomorrow'', Ellie said as she yawned. ''Okay sleepyhead, but where do I sleep?'', Gabby asked. ''In my bed silly. I have a bed big enough for two people'', Ellie said. ''Alright'', Gabby said happily as Ellie grabbed Gabby's hand and led her to the bedroom. Ellie sat down on the bed while Gabby was still scanning the room. Ellie then grabbed Gabby's arm and pulled her onto the bed and leaned in to kiss her. When Gabby finally was stable onto the bed she cupped Ellie's cheek and also kissed Ellie passionately. They made out for a while until they decided that they really need sleep so they both laid comfortably on the bed. Gabby big spooning Ellie who was the little spoon. And they both fell asleep in this position.
