**** Emma's P.O.V****

I agreed to a date with him really. I didn't think much of it. We were friends not Boyfriend and girlfriend. I wouldn't mind if we were either really. But I never took them seriously, maybe if I was in love but I wasn't.

" I say we go to Ryan's. That Buffet down the street. We can walk there unless you want me to drive there." I wouldn't mind either. But we walked there. It sprinkled a little bit as we walked but it wasn't anything to big.

As we walked into the restaurant I noticed there wasn't to many people there. Six families at the most. Some with kids some didn't. Made me and Derek the smallest group in the whole place. We got to our seats and got food. I got corn bread muffin,  Mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and some steak. I wasn't going to try and eat much, because as I said before, I didn't need it.

I sat down before him, when he returned he had a butt load of mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, Pizza, steak, ribs, carrots, and some more things I couldn't make out. it looked like he had some kinda chicken on there as well.

" I feel fat." he said as he took a bit out of his pizza. I giggled.

" I told you I don't need this. Never hungry." I gave a excuse.

" Should still eat more, I know you don't need it but who cares? You can still eat it."

" Doesn't need to be wasted."

He put his hand on mine " Just." He closed his eyes. " Eat." He opened them and took his hand off mine, stupid sparks. I started eating.

" What's you're favorite book?" He asked. " You seem like a book nerd to me." I giggled.

" I would have to say. . ." I had to think about this, I had no idea which was my favorite. Most I read were all good but it depended on interest.

" What are you interested in?" I looked up at him.

" I didn't ask for a recommendation. I asked for you're favorite book. Goon." he laughed a little, I giggled.

" Hmm. . . ' The summoning' by ' Kelly Armstrong' I love the main character reminds me of me. But I can't see dead people.

" Wow, I didn't know you were interested in supernaturals. Makes sense though. So what's her name, you're like Tori?" I can't believe he read it.

" Holy shit you've read it? I don't know anyone who has!" I was exited. No one ever knew what I was talking about that book. I always told them to read it but never did.

" But no, I wouldn't take you to a basement and keep you there. But I would help you escape a mental hospital."

I took bites of my food. " I figured. Really I just know a thing or two about it. A friend of mine spoiled and talked about the book. I was going to read it but I didn't see the point. " He took some more bites. It was a bit awkward between us.

" How do you feel about me now that you know I'm a witch?" I asked. I was thinking he was afraid of me.

" Better. I would rather know more about you then nothing about you." He avoided eye contact that whole time. I could hear his hear pounding. He must have been some what afraid. And I told him.

" You're scared of me. I get that, I don't blame you."

" I'm not."

" Why is you're heart beating like you were just in a car accident and you have no idea what to do?" I looked up at him, having a piece of steak stabbed into my fork.

He didn't answer, I ate. " Thought so."

" I'm not really scared of you, just, not more safe. I feel like you'll snap like they do in movies. and then you go on a killing spree and eventually killing the one you-" He stopped.
