**** Derek's P.O.V****
I quickly opened the door and put her on the bed, I really didn't know if she just passed out or died. If she died then I was putting my life on the line for nothing.
I could tell she was breathing after a few moments, she lost a lot of blood, that's probably why she blacked out. I rolled up her sleeve a little to see her arm, bleeding. It was small but it seemed bloodier then it should have been. I ran to get bandages from my closet, I had many medical supplies for someone who didn't get hurt much.
I ran to the bed and started wrapping her arm up, her shirt raising a little bit bit as my arm brushed over it and I saw something. My attention drew to the little bit that I saw.
Don't pull up the girls shirt. What is she wakes up and sees you taking her cloths off? She'll think you're some perv you know that right?
Shit. I really needed to see the wound, but if she woke up and saw me poking around her stomach? She'd kill me. I could tell her that I was looking at what was under, and explain. But would she really believe me? Probably not.
I raised it up just a little bit, a little bit was all it took for me to see a cut on her stomach. It was all stitched up but it was really bad. It was just a little purple and it was bleeding a little bit. Whoever stitched her up didn't do a very good job. Maybe even bleeding more farther up her chest. I didn't know how far up her chest it went and I wasn't even considering looking. My heart sunk to my stomach, giving it a unsettling feeling. I didn't know if I could even do anything to it. I was afraid I might hurt her if I tried to bandage it, and I would have to lift up her shirt a little or a lot more. . .
I put her shirt all the way down as if I saw nothing. I checked her pulse and her breathing once again, both okay. She was okay, I was okay. I made a sigh of relief. I sat on the edge of the bed, waiting for her to wake up.
Hours of silence passed, I checked her pulse and breathing maybe every twenty minutes. Night came, I wanted to sleep, but I knew I couldn't. I had to watch her and made sure she woke up, she was okay, she was alive and safe.
Soon I saw a tiny baby blue colored dragon come in the window.
" Whew that took longer then expected. How's the girl?" He asked.
" Sorry, I made you go through that alone. I should've been there."
" Don't worry about that fool, it's you're job to make me stronger and that can also make you stronger. But answer my question." I closed my eyes.
" Not waking up, bleed to much."
" She will wake up any minute now." And after that we said nothing to each other. Until he broke the silence.
" You like her?" He grinned.
" Wh- What? I mean I do, just n-not like that." I blushed.
" Is that why you kissed her forehead when she was crying? Is that why you went through all that trouble to get her out?"
" I kissed her forehead because I do that to every girl that's crying, besides it was my fault she was crying. And I went there to get her because something was up with the Smoke group and I didn't want her to die from them. It's simple. Yes I one hundred percent care about her and her safety but so what? A lot of people are like that."
" Sure thing, stud. By the way, you have to name me. I am you're new faithful dragon from now on. Now, you can name me." I was thinking of names from movies I had seen, but I remember a fantacy thing I watched and a name popped up in my head.
" Silver, sound good?"
" Sure." He smirked
" Yeah, I-" He shushed me
" She's waking up." I looked at Emma, and sure enough her eyes were starting to open.
