****Emma's P.O.V****
I curled in my little ball, feeling safer even though I knew I wasn't any more safe, making no difference. Where was I? How Did I get here? Was Derek. . .
No, he wouldn't
I shook my thoughts away. And while I was thinking about What I could do in a room with no windows and only a lamp next to my bed lighting the room. It was kinda dim.
There was a book shelve to my left, small one pushed against the wall. I didn't know what was there and I never bothered to look. I didn't even know where I was, and if I did, maybe I would know what was there.
White walls, white floors, no rugs. I haven't even moved away from the bed. The metal door slowly opened. My hopes of it being some one I knew and I find some creep with brown hair probably in his late forties or early thirties. Wearing a leather jacket, thinking it would make him more intimating but really all I wanted to do was hit him, and I didn't even know him.
" Hello, Emma right?" His deep voice said
" Something the matter? Shit head right?" He laughed.
" Call me what you'd like. I have a few questions we would like to ask you, and we will answer you'res. Seem fair?" I didn't know what I was getting into but I said " Fine." And crawled out of bed.
He was behind me, his hands on my shoulders so I wouldn't run away. I saw a few nurses running in the hall. I still had no idea where I was. A hospital? I didn't have a reason to be here, as I walked down down the hall way this looked like something out of history. Mental hospital? There were rooms right next to each other, and maybe a crazy person in each one, with padded walls, growing more insane every . . .
I was taken into a room, more like an office. I took a seat like anyone else would. He sat in front of his computer desk while I had my body turned to the back of it.
" Were just going to ask and answer questions to each other. Simple, I'll go first." I nodded, if I misbehaved I felt like I would have guards at my door constantly making sure I didn't get out. Which would make it harder to escape. Even though I didn't have a plan yet.
" How do you feel about being a witch? Feel powerful? Like you can destroy-"
" One question. Being a witch? I feel like i'm living in hell." I answered
" How s-"
" One question." I had to remind him again. " Why am I here?" I asked
" Why? Well we want to help you Emma simple as that. Now, do you feel powerful?"
" I highly doubt that." I had to think about powerful for a moment. What was power? Something you can obtain? Or something you just had? " I suppose." I answered. he knew I was unsure.
" How did I get here?" I asked, death glaring him. " You're new friend Derek decided this was-" Mine pounded fast, believing him for a few seconds, but, his heart was pounding fast, " Do not lie to me you shit head." I cut him off.
" Busted, we took you as you slept. Nothing to harsh. Now answer this, do you want to kill Derek?" At least I knew Derek had nothing to do with this. But why would he ask such a question? I smirked.
" I want to kill him with the light of a thousand suns." I said sarcastically.
" Do you want to kill Derek?" I asked. Letting go of my smirk, giving him another death glare.
" Can't say I do." I was a little pissed at him. His heart wasn't changing its rate. " Do you trust him?"
" Can't say I do." I mocked. " Who told you to put me in a mental hospital?"
" Very funny, Oh, I see you figured out this was a mental hospital. You're right. But we will treat you with respect, all we want is to make sure you're happy and safe. Not because you're insane. Would you like to go back to be with Derek?" He was trying to make me feel some what better but failed due to his friendly tone and smile.
I paid close attention to his last words, my heart jumped to my throat. Does he have Derek here too?
" Y-Y- You don't h-h- have him do you? A-And I do care to see him."
" We don't. What kind of things can you do to hurt people?" He had a smile painted on his face as he said that. made me want to smack it right off of him. I was just glad they didn't have Derek. My heart was now where it was supposed to be.
" Many, and I would love to demonstrate it to you." I smirked once again. He laughed.
" I would care to use less violence,"
" For my final question, are you part of Smoke? I want a yes or note. Or things will get violent." I threatened. He grabbed something from his drawer, I thought it was a file cabinet. When He walked up to me with it he grabbed my left arm and but a very tight bracelet on it, then locked it with a card. "So things do not get violent my dear." My whole body froze, I grew cold. It was preventing me from using my spells, I was sure of it.
Why didn't you try to kill him while you had the chance?
He sighed. " Yes, the group that really wants to know more about witches, one of the rarest type of supernatural there is." He answered truthfully, at least he didn't lie.
" May I leave, I'm finished talking. All my questions were answered. And you're surly not getting any of you're answered. " I answered.
" As you wish." He lead me back to my bedroom. When I got there There were people waiting for my arrival, they looked like surgeons.
Fuck.
