I always feel like she's hiding things from me. She told me she would tell me something later. But what was she doing with Aaron? They were only gone for five minutes, but still. I grew curious. I wasn't going to ask what happened right now, maybe Aaron, or maybe Emma, but I didn't know if I could trust Emma anymore of she won't tell me anything. Aaron would tell me, wouldn't he?

Emma fell asleep next to me, Aaron was still awake and I acted like I was asleep for about an hour. Until he walked out the door. As soon as I heard the door close I shot out of bed. Getting a different pair of pants on and putting my shoes on quickly. I almost forgot my key to get in. But I didn't.

I saw Aaron turn down the hall, I creep around the corners to be unseen, trying to see where he's going. Where was he going at one in the morning?

I kept my body hidden so no one could see me. There was someone at the desk doing something, looks like paperwork. And no one else was in the lobby until Aaron showed up. He walked out the front door and I followed close behind but unseen, unheard.

He seemed to just be taking a midnight stroll. He wasn't doing anything except for walking, and what helped me was the fact the sidewalks were still packed with people, so I blended in. Soon I caught up with Aaron, he didn't seem to be going any where particular.

" Hey, what are you doing?" I ask as I stumble next to him tripping on my own feet.

" Midnight stroll," He answered. "And you follow me why?" He chuckles.

"Curiosity. So what were you and Emma talking about?"

"I see you still have it from just hours ago." He sighed. Looking up at the sky. "Not much really. Said she was going crazy from being around you though." He laughed. I laughed along.

"I can't be as bad as you at least." I comment punching him on the shoulder, I laugh as he stumbles and then almost falls to the ground.

"Ass." He tells me.

"Did Emma talk about anything from what we did at the mall?" I ask. He gives me a surprised look. "N-Not like that!" I yell almost hitting him again.

"Nah, she didn't. What did you guys do? Make out?" He says. I see the man with brown hair and some grey in his hair again. Walking past me still looking at me, I acted like I couldn't see him even though I was paying attention. What's his deal?

"No." I say, reminding myself of her yelling at me. I honestly didn't want her angry at me for being afraid of her, I still loved her though. Wasn't that all that mattered? I was just scared she was gonna snap on day, and when she did I would be the first victim. Soon I couldn't see him through the crowd of people, him walking behind us made it harder for me to look at him.

"You did something, didn't you?" He frowned.

"I didn't do anything really. Besides what makes you think we made out? Weirdo." I chuckle.

"I'm sure you wouldn't wanna kiss your girlfriend. I mean that's just the right thing to do." He rolled his eyes smiling.

" Of- Hey, what makes you think were like, dating?"

"Well, you guys hang out a lot. You guys even sleep in the same bed. Not hard to figure out." He says smiling. "Lucky bastard." He whispers to himself.

"How am I lucky?"

"I love how you don't deny the fact I just pretty much called her your girlfriend." I roll my eyes blushing. He hits my arm.

"Shut up."

"Besides, Emma already told me you guys were a thing."

"She did?" I would rather him say a thing then a relationship. Sounds odd to me, and kind of embarrassing which it really shouldn't be. Some guy I am.

"Yep." He says puckering his lip when the P comes. "She loves you, and you mean the world to her."

"Nice,"

"Her words, not mine." He sighed. "Your a dork when it comes to Romance huh?"

"S-She said that? Didn't expect that . . ."

"You love her - I hope- And she loves you back. Isn't that all that matters? Not like I would know what you do behind my back, but, I know that much."

"Well, secrets out. Let's head back. Almost one thirty." We started walking towards the hotel.

"Can't wait to sleep with your mate huh?" He laughed.

"Mate?"

"Soul mate, ya know? You two fit each other." He says, I smile.

"Yeah . . . She's- Not like that." I roll my eyes. "

"Good to know you found a girl who can put up with you're ass." He laughed hitting my arm harder this time.

"Ow!" I shout as I rub my arm. "I'm sure there is other people- You know what, I'm not having this conversation with you." I shake my head and laugh.

Soon we reach the hotel, when we make it back to the room I see Emma on her phone with her hand running through her hair like she's stressed.

"My fucking- Don't scare me like that! Al least tell me where you're going next time. You assholes." She says. Me and Aaron laugh as she come up to Aaron and hugs him, then me.

"Did I wake you?" I say as I kiss her forehead. "Sorry." I say.

"You weren't . . . Under the covers. It was . . ." Her face grew hot. "Colder." She says looking away. I smile.

" Won't happen again." I say as I start walking towards the bed, taking my shoes off at the doorway. I kept the jean shorts on, to lazy to take them off.

"I was about to call you." She says rubbing her face. Sighing as well. I laughed. "You guys scared me shit less you know that?" She says as she goes back under the covers.

"Sure thing." Aaron says a he gets under his covers.

"You ain't got to worry. I'd tell you if I was going far. But this asshole had to sneak out so I followed."

" It was a midnight stroll! I couldn't sleep." he argues. I shake my head and get under the covers with Emma, I guess it is warmer when someone you love is sleeping next to you, the covers weren't cold at all. And a lot more comfortable.

I wrapped my arm around Emma's stomach, spooning her. I felt her arm wrap around mine.

"I got something to tell you." She whispers to me.

"Hmm?"

" I love you." She holds my hand and squeezes. I feel a smile stretch across my face, it feels nice to have someone say it back to you.

"Love you more."I whisper back. and reach over to kiss her on the cheek. She catches my lips and brings them to hers, pressing firmly against mine, kisses slow and smooth. She wraps her hands around my neck and press me towards her more, I adjusted my arm so I could pull away, not wanting Aaron to see anything.

Emma bites my lip smiling as I pulled away. Laughing a little this time.

"Shh." I say trying not to laugh with her. She nods. I didn't know why we were so giggly but we just were. Everything seemed really funny some how. She turns to me and snuggles against my chest, my arm wrapped around her and ending at my hand holding onto her elbow. I left my remaining arm left on my stomach. Her head leaning on my shoulder and pillow, and I leaned on her as she did me. That night, I actually slept well, not having a care in the world.
