Thirty nine

**** Derek's P.O.V****

" What's in the bag?" I asked. Emma blushed and hid it behind her back.

" None ya." Aaron walked passed her over to me on the bed, It was five o'clock. They were gone for a while, wonder if they got lost.

I rolled my eyes and kept reading my book. Emma put the bag on the table and turned on the TV. Watching the news. Aaron fell back on the bed. 

" I'm beat." He said.

" We just walked for peat sake. We didn't run a mile." Emma laughed.

" We walked a mile probably." Aaron argued. Then he shot out of bed. " We should go to the Eiffel tower now. Now now now now!" He jumped out of bed. 

" I sear you said we should go tomorrow." Emma argued turning off the TV. I closed my book and put my shoes on. Guess we were going today.

" I guess you're not beat then," I joked. Putting my hands in my sweater pockets. 

We got a cab to the tower, which was about a ten minute drive. With rarely any traffic. Strange.

We found a building near the tower, made for the view. A staircase leading up to balcony that gave you a really good view of the tower.

Seeing the giant hunk of beautifully made iron, that was incredible. We all stood in the field to get a good view. I wish there was a building we could go in to get a better one. We were all wowed of how tall it was. And how much better it was to see it in person then in a picture.

I got out the camera that was still in my pocket. And told Emma and Aaron to get in a picture together. Aaron put his hand around her shoulder and held a peace sign. sticking his tong out. Emma smiled at him and stood there putting a 'L' Over his head. I laughed.

Next Emma took a picture of me and Aaron together. Aaron and me though our arms over each others shoulders and Our free arm next to each other, side fist bumping each other smiling.

Me and Emma were in the next picture. It was a bit awkward between us though. Not knowing what to pose like. Aaron suggested we kissed but we just stared at him and blushed. Funny how we did the same thing.

I grabbed her by her waist bringing her closer. She was at my side, both of us looking at the camera. I put the 'L' Over her head using my fingers as she did with Aaron and she flipped me off smiling rolling her eyes away from the camera.

And then I got a picture of the tower itself. It was daylight outside and the clouds above us made it nice and pretty. We all lied down in the grass looking at the clouds and giant tower above us. Aaron between me and Emma.

" Amazing view isn't it?" Aaron asked.

" No shit," I said. Emma didn't say anything. I wondered why.

I leaned forward to see what Emma was doing. She arms were behind her head with eyes closed. I smiled. She couldn't be sleeping.

" Emma?" I asked.

"Hmm?" She said eyes still closed.

" Tired?" I chuckled.

She nodded. " I kinda wanna nap here until it's night. Wish I could." She sighed then sat up.

" We should all nap here. It's perfect outside right now. Best place to nap." Aaron said.

" Until you freeze you're ass off at night. And don't ask for blankets either cause I ain't getting them." I laughed.

" You'd do it for Emma though." He smiled.

" So would you."

" Hey now, if I wanna blanket I'm damn well gonna get one with or without you guys!" She laughed. Me and Aaron laughed with her.

" Thanks you guys." She said.

" For what?" I asked. Aaron now was sitting up with us.

" Letting me be here with you guys. This is amazing! And I'm glad I got to share it with you!" She had the biggest smile on her face. I saw a tear fall.

" Are you crying?" I asked, wiping a tear from her cheek. She felt her face, feeling something wet there.

" I guess I am. Dunno why though." She said wiping one off her other cheek. " Guess I'm happy." She smiled and laughed at herself.

" Let her be, girls crying and it's all you're fault." He rolled his eyes at me.

" I didn't do shit you ass!" I shoved him over laughing. He fell to the ground landing on his back, relaxing once again. I rubbed Emma's shoulder smiling at the fact she was happy but crying. 

She took a deep breath and jumped on top of me. Hugging me and whispering in my ear." Thank you," I hugged her back, my back was on the ground as if I was chilling. But my arms wrapped around a girl I loved.

A few seconds later she pulled away. Hugging Aaron the same way but seemingly longer, maybe saying something else. I just couldn't help but smile at her being this happy.
