Aaron walked in with a cell phone in his hand, it wasn't his.

" What's that for?" I asked.

"Emma, cause in case she ever needs y- us, she can call, It's safer for her anyways" He tossed the phone to me. It was an Samsung Galaxy S three. "Think she'll like that one? I personally like Samsung's better then Apple, I already got our phone numbers in there and I didn't know her email address and stuff, so when she gets here she'll have to add it"

" Where is she?" I asked.

"There was a girl at the bar I went to last night, she asked if I knew Emma, I said yeah then she gave me her address and asked for me to take her to that address. Simple as that." I grew angry.

" So you just took her there? There could be some one trying to kill her! And you don't even know that! Did you at least tell her this before you took her there?" I sighed in frustration.

" I did, I'm not that fucking stupid Derek, look I was only doing what I was asked! Why do you always think about the worst case scenario? It was a girl for god's sake she can't do that much can she?"

"No matter the gender they can-" The door opened showing Emma walking in. I let out a sigh of relief, Knowing she was safe made me feel at ease.

" Well I'm sorry I didn't say anything sooner" Aaron said, not meaning it. It pissed me off that he just took her somewhere without thinking but at least she was okay.

" What's going on?" She asked quietly and confused.

" Nothing, come here for a sec" She sat next to me on the bed, I handed her the phone and asked her to add her email address, signing her into google and all that.

" I have no idea how this works." She confessed. I grinned taking the phone from her. I showed her how to do everything important and things that were a little more complicated. The messaging and calling were not hard to figure out at all, I didn't bother explaining the simple functions. I mostly showed her the settings, and answered all of her question.

" I didn't know you knew so much about phones" She teased.

" I'm what you call a nerd and my dad showed me a bunch of stuff with computers and tech stuff as a kid" She giggled.

" Thanks." She smiled,

" I didn't get it but Aaron did,"

" It came with a charger." Aaron said as he put said charger on the table next to me.

Later, me and Emma went to the book store. I wanted to get her a book so she would have something to do on her free time. She liked the Darkest powers series, maybe she liked that author in particular. And luckily, there were some English printed books there. So we looked through those being the only people in the isle.

" What author do you like?" I asked.

" I don't really pay attention to the author but I like Kelly Armstrong books, shes the author of my favorite series. but what do you recommend? Game of thrones?" She walks over to  shelve to the right, showing a whole shelf filled with all the books in alphabetical order. I saw the one I had to read next.

" Nah," I picked up the book I needed next, at least I wouldn't have to wait to read the book.

" What about this one?" She said, handing me a book named " The Gathering" by Kelly Armstrong. Well we found the author she likes, awesome.

" Should we go somewhere else?" She asks as we walk up to the cashier.

" Do you want to go some where else?" I asked suggestively.

" We're in a mall with barns and noble, want to explore? Maybe we can get some other stuff we need while we're here" She smiled, I put the books up on the counter and the cashier scanned them. I swiped the credit card through.

" Sure if you want" best thing I can think of is clothes, that's what was mostly in malls. Shoes stores; other stuff like that. Maybe she just wanted to hang out and have some alone time with just us two, I didn't mind the idea.

" Hey, where did you go earlier with Aaron? You were gone for like an hour, I was a bit worried" I admitted as we walked out of the store and into a lobby. It had people sitting in chairs with there laptops, most with food and drinks with them as well. It wasn't noisy or quiet. Just a few people conversing.

" Well someone from that camp I went too, the one where they took us to the war, She wanted to see me and we just hung out and talked really- Talking about you." She chuffed.

" I'm afraid to ask what you guys said" I laughed. " Anyways, did he tell you where you guys were going before you stepped in the taxi?" I asked.

" Yeah,"

" And you went anyway? She could've killed you or brought you to some crazy persons place, you could have been put in danger-" I almost raised my voice. Soon we stepped into a area with stores side by side, left and right, small stands in the middle doing their own business, I saw shoe stores, many clothing stores, a candy store, junk places, DVD, tea, candle, and some stores I never knew existed.

" I wen't because I trusted him and the girl obviously knew who I was and she did." I stopped us at a bench, people passing us constantly made it a little irritating.

" Just please, please be careful I don't want you getting hurt over something Aaron did" I held her hand and I brought my lips to her forehead. " Be careful" I warned.

" I am, besides this place is safer then anything we're in a mall and I'm sure no one is going to try and kill me here" She smiled, shaking her head. " I can't believe you can put up with me and all my bull shit" I kissed her briefly.

" It's something that's not gonna stop me from loving you." I hugged her immediately.

" That's what I'm afraid of-" She says as she pulls away from my grip.

" Quit thinking of stupid stuff please? Not gonna happen, I won't let it" I raised her chin up from looking at her hands that are made into fists. Making her eyes lock on mine. " Promise"

" Forget I said anything" She says standing up, holding my hand forcing me to stand, letting go after I do.

A women walked up to us from a store on the side.

" You look like a brave man, do you want to try and face you're fears and win two hundred dollars? Come with me!" She says, perfect English.
