**** Emma's P.O.V****
I woke up to find Derek asleep on my head as if it were my shoulder. I was afraid to move because I didn't wanna wake him. But I some how managed to slip my head out, Derek's head falling. I giggled a little. I saw Aaron asleep on the window, not what do I do.
I looked out the window with Derek's hand still on my shoulder, I didn't mind it being there. Not like I cared, but I some how blushed. I stretched my legs in the seat, cracking a couple bones. Soon Derek woke up and smiled.
" How was you're nap?" He sounded so casual I almost laughed.
" Alright, wheres that dragon? Is he still at the building?" I asked, I didn't really think of him much.
" He's flying outside somewhere, I can hear him. So uh, you exited?" He dropped his hand from my shoulder.
" Yeah, I wanna go there at sunrise or sunset, I think that's when it will be prettiest." I would rather have it at sun set though. But I didn't say that.
He nodded with a smile. I looked out the window to see a very large black mist, it was a seeker. Right next to the window, probably looking straight at me.
You can't tell unless it's solid, until it turns into it's true form. It starts off as a mist until some one gets it's attention. And when you battle it's really a fight to the death. Only one can win, and it's always the supernatural mostly. Some make a living of it, most supernaturals live in Virginia where the ones there drop gems that you can take to a certain shop in the city to get money. Something the witches did a long ass time ago caused it. And it took place in Virginia as you could guess.
" Look," I tapped Derek's shoulder. I got his attention towards the window. " It sees us." I told him. " Are there cameras around here? I wanna try to cast something at it." I was practicing something that was perfect for this moment. You can stick you're body through solid objects. And if you were good enough you could do you're entire body, I could only manage to get my arm through things though, depending on how thick it was.
" Are you really going to cast a spell on it in a plane? I mean, I don't see much cameras, none close to us anyways."
" Cover me." I said, I closed my eyes. I put my hand against the window, that was the thinner then the wall and that made it easier. I pushed, and faintly opened my eyes to see the mist. I saw that my hand was slowly going through the window, I continued concentrating on it.
I felt my fingers feel the cold air outside, I managed to get a Soul Shatter ready. It was harder then I thought it was. Keeping you're hand through a window without breaking it and casting a spell. You're hand being squeezed my the glass and you're trying not to let it touch you're skin and make you bleed. But I managed to throw it at it and hit it, even if it was mist, anything related to supernatural touching it will work and take full effect as if it were solid.
It shriveled and disappeared. I put my hand back in the plane quickly. Rubbing my wrist with my other hand.
" I don't think anyone saw. You okay? What's with you're wrist is it okay?" He yanked my wrist and pulled it towards him, he examined it.
" It's nothing," I pulled it away from him.
" Just making sure it's alright," He rubbed the back of his neck. " Hey, Emma. How much do you trust me?" I took a moment, I looked at my hands. Thinking, how much did I trust him? A little? A lot? I think a lot. I would tell him more then I'm letting him know, but he hasn't asked anything I wouldn't answer before I trusted him yet.
" A lot," I said. " Why?" I looked at him.
" I was hoping you'd tell me what happened, to you're eye. If you don't mind me asking, again." I haven't actually looked at what it looked like in months. I should, but I haven't. When my dad first injured my eye I never wanted to look at it again. There was a scar there, he threw a beer bottle at me and it broke, scrapped my eye. And a couple weeks after that people looked at me a lot in public, so I wore an eye patch. It was better then a ugly scar.
" I- I haven't actually checked on it in a while. Now that I think about it,"
" Is that so? If you wanna go in the bathroom and check on it that's cool, we still have about an hour left before we arrive I think." I stood up and walked to the bathroom that was at the other end of the plane. I knocked, no answer. And walked in.
