When I wake up in the morning, I see that Derek is sound asleep with his body facing the other way. Aaron was already awake, in the bathroom doing whatever he was doing. I sat up rubbing my eyes and checking the clock. 11:56 am.
"Morning," Aaron says as he shuts the door, quiet loudly as well. I was hoping Derek wouldn't wake up. Not like I cared so much, just didn't want to disturb his slumber.
"Morning." I replied. He sits down on the edge of the bed. Shit, I just remembered that I have to go to the room here in a couple hours. I didn't want to, I was scared of who might be there, what might happen to me, I didn't have a clue. What time do he say again? Seven?
Should I really tell Derek about that? No, I didn't want anyone to save me if I was in trouble. Derek risked his life to get me out of the hospital, mental hospital, I don't need something like that happening again. Even if he does love me, and would risk everything for me, I don't want that if his life is in danger with it.
Well that's just the way you're life is, is it not?
When I crawled out of bed going to the bathroom, getting dressed with cloths I grabbed from he bag while coming out, I wore jean shorts and a while T-shirt with lace at the bottom and around the neck. Brushing my hair while I was at it. I never noticed how long my hair was until now, a little past my belly button.
When I walk out I see Derek sitting up and rubbing his eye. "Did I wake you?" I lean on the door with my arms crossed.
"Well yeah, I can feel the covers move." I roll my eyes.
"I think I'm gonna find something to do outside, I'll call you guys if I need anything." Aaron says as he walks out the door, he seems to want to be away from me maybe. We did kiss, and it still is pretty awkward between us to me.
"Bathroom open for a shower?" Derek asks as he hovers over me.
"What's the magic word?" I tease as I lean off the door. Derek kisses be briefly on the lips. "That works." I walk over to the bed, grabbing my book and opening it to read. I hear the shower running, fifteen minutes later Derek walk out with the towel just covering his waist and below, I laugh as I cover my eyes.
"What are you doing?" I laugh.
"I forgot to grab cloths," He says as he grabs the bag, I could only hear him shuffling to see what the options were. "Sorry." He laughs as he walks to the bathroom again, cloths in hand this time. I start reading my book again, and he takes longer this time.
"What are you doing?" I shout as I close my book and set it on the table.
"Hey, can you hand me the razors in the bag?" He chuckles a little, I grab them as he requests, when I reach the door I hesitate.
"If you are only wearing the towel I will hurt you." I giggle.
"Nah I'm not, promise." I walk in to see him standing over the sink with shaving cream on his chin and under his nose. No shirt on though. I hand him the box of razors.
"You're shaving?" I say as he takes them from my, opening it.
"Yeah," He turns on the faucet.
"Hey," I sit on the counter next to it. "Can I tell you something, without you getting angry at me?" I say.
"Go for it." He says as he looks at himself in the mirror in front of him taking his first stroke.
"Um, while you were in the tea shop, that guy came up to me, and he asked me to meet someone in a room in this hotel. And I don't know who it is, he didn't say." He stops.
"And you tell me this now? I could've gotten answers from him in the mall you know." He sighs.
"I know but, I was afraid of what you were going to say." He looks at me from the mirror.
