**** Derek's P.O.V****
We walked back to our seats as is nothing happened, I couldn't tell if that was a good thing or a bad thing. When we sat down I saw Aaron awake and staring at us. Like he knew what we did.
" Where were you guys?" He asked with a grin painted on his face.
" We asked the lady up front how much longer it was going to be until we landed. About half an hour," Emma replied quickly. I nodded.
Aaron gave me the stink eye, squinting his eyes at me like I was lying. I would've liked it if we actually did kiss. Damn bathroom.
We were quiet the rest of the way, we finally landed about half an hour later. Silver following us, And we all walked off, and we were finally here, Paris, France.
We got a taxi and asked them to take us to whatever hotel was closest. Good thing Aaron knew a lot of French. I wasn't worried about budget. As we sat down, we all saw tall buildings, people walking up and down the streets. We didn't see the tower, but that would wait. It was around 11:30 a.m so we could take a nap, but we all just woke up.
When we reached a hotel a few minutes later, it was pretty nice. The check in/out had a lot of furniture and books to read, it was quiet. There was a pretty red headed girl with glasses reading in the room by herself. I didn't know the reason, but we got a bedroom a few minutes later, room one zero one. And we got three cards that acted as keys.
When we stepped in the room, there were two beds and a orange couch that maybe turned into a bed. A table with a oddly shaped lamp on it separating the beds. A few selves on the wall with nothing on them, but cleaned. A TV on the wall in front of the beds, A cabinet below it with a microwave. A bathroom to you're left as soon as you walk in. This was a pretty nice place for a hotel, and it was pretty cheap.
Aaron flopped on a bed, " I'm not very tired, and it's not even late. You guys wanna go check out the tower now? Or tomorrow?" He asked.
" Up to Emma," I say.
" I say we rest up for a bit, I'm still a bit tired anyway."
" I think I'm gonna go to town and see what's there. Get to know this place a bit I guess. I can go grab us some snacks too, I'll try to find something new," I smiled. Emma flopped on the other bed getting comfy.
" Don't get lost," She said.
My trip was short, I walked up and down the streets hearing people speaking a language I didn't know anything about. I found something that looked like a store and walked in. Nothing was in English so I didn't really know where anything was. I just walked around looking for chips or something. I grabbed a couple cheese and pepperoni pizzas and I grabbed potato chips. Well, something that looked like potato chips.
When I walked out the store something caught my eye, a sign. It had a picture of the Eiffel tower on it, assuming there was an event there. I couldn't read it, but a man behind me translated, kinda.
" There's a dance party type thing going on there, tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. In case you couldn't read it." I looked behind me to see a man with a grey hat on. A shirt that the sleeves stopped at his elbows, and some jeans. He said it with a thick accent but still understandable.
" Oh, I see. Thanks for telling me!" I smiled.
" You going? It would be a nice place to go, there's going to be a nice dance going on." He smiled, " You could take you and you're lady friend there." Did he know about Emma? Smoke? I didn't know if I could trust him.
" I dunno." I responded. " Thanks for the info man." I walked out the door, it was sprinkling rain now. So I kept my head down low looking at my feet occasionally looking around to make sure I knew where I was going. Sooner or later I got to the hotel with bags in hand. Emma still in the same position as I left. Aaron on the bed with the covers over him.
