3rd POV
Maria: "And I just.. don't know what to do anymore.."
???: "Goodness, why are you even telling me this? I'm not even your therapist."
The woman said as she took a drag of smoke. Maria then rolls her eyes as she says that.
Maria: "I know, but you're the only person I can go to Cassandra."
Cassandra: "Woah, someone sounds feisty."
Then, she took another drag. "Why the hell am I here again?"
Maria: "to help me with -"
Cassandra: "Oh yeah, help you with whatever shit is going on with you and your son. Yeah, yeah , I know."
Maria: "I just don't think making the war again will help."
Cassandra: "The hell you mean? It helped last time!"
Maria: "No. I just traumatized my niece's and nephew and killed many innocent people. "
Cassandra: "Tsk.. They weren't even related to you, Maria, and what happened to your old self? You used to be so violent.. I almost saw you as a -"
Maria: "Yeah, but that wasn't me, Cassandra. You made me drink that damn potion."
Cassandra: "like I give a fuck."
Maria: "Man I hate you so much."
Cassandra: "Hey! I got you your son, and you ain't regretting it!"
Maria: "You didn't got him! I even remember what happened."
Cassandra: "Well, I can't, so tell me what happened."
Maria then sighs
Backstory
Maria was talking to her gaurds until one of her maid accidentally dropped a blue vase, a vase that was really expensive and rare
Maid: "I am so sorry, Queen! I promise I won't do it again! Please don't kill me!"
Maria: "it's okay. You don't need to worry, and plus, it's just a simple vase. Now, let me help you clean it up."
They were cleaning up, and in the distance, Cassandra saw everything. She got pissed off and then walked away
Next day
Cassandra: "What do you mean you don't want a man? You have to have one to get pregnant dumbass."
Maria: "Well, I don't want one! I would rather adopt a child than get it from a man
Cassandra then walked out the room pissed off at Maria, and then went outside with her 3 gaurds, and then she saw the maid watering the plants, the same maid that broke the vase
Cassandra: "is that..that is the same damn bitch that knocked off my vase!"
Cassandra then noticed she brought her child with her. The child was in a basket with a blanket. The child was a month old. And that was it.
She had an idea and then told the gaurds to kill her for breaking a vase. The gaurds then nodded and then went to go kill her.
Luckily, Maria looked out in her window and saw what was gonna happen she then called out to the maid.
Maria: "Laura! Run for your life!"
Laura then hears Maria's voice and looks to the side to see gaurds running towards her. She then gets up and takes the basket that her child was in and ran towards the forest as she was getting chased.
She ran and ran until she went behind a tree and put the basket where her child was in on the ground next to the tree (you already know the rest, if you don't, look in the prince backstory)
